After breakfast, we depart La Rochelle by private coach and follow the western coastline for a full day shaped by light, water, and space.
This is a guided coastal exploration designed around seeing — not performing. Throughout the day, we stop at a series of carefully chosen locations: rugged shorelines, quiet beaches, working harbors, weathered lighthouses, and small seaside villages where life still moves at the pace of the tides.
There is no pressure to photograph “well.” Whether you’re using a camera, your phone, or simply your eyes, this day is about noticing texture, color, and how the light changes from morning to afternoon to early evening.
We pause midday for a group lunch at a local restaurant, then continue along the coast with plenty of time built in for walking, reflection, and creative wandering.
As the day softens toward golden hour, we position ourselves along the shoreline to experience the coast as it changes — quieter, warmer, and more expansive. We return to La Rochelle in the early evening.
