After breakfast, we depart La Rochelle by private coach and travel to the Arvert Peninsula, a quiet coastal region known for its vineyards, pine forests, and salt air.
Our morning begins with a vineyard visit and guided tasting, where the winemaker introduces the region’s wines and local specialties, including Cognac and Pineau. You’ll learn about the production process, aging methods, and how the landscape shapes what ends up in the glass — all in a setting that feels personal rather than polished.
From here, we continue on to La Tremblade, a small riverside town, where you’ll have free time to stroll the waterfront and enjoy lunch on your own at one of the local cafés or restaurants.
In the afternoon, we make a final coastal stop near La Coubre Lighthouse, where there is time to walk along the beach, take in the Atlantic air, or simply sit and let the week settle.
We return to La Rochelle in the late afternoon with time to rest before gathering this evening for our farewell dinner — a final shared meal to mark the close of our time together.
