Today is all about exploring how the locals live in this magical place where time seems to run slow and fast simultaneously. After a leisurely breakfast, you'll make your way to the heart of the Valley of Roses: Kelaat M'Gouna.
On your way, you'll stop at a local market and/or butcher to shop like locals and then head to the home of a local family for a traditional couscous lunch.
When you arrive, you'll first learn how to make couscous from scratch, making the small couscous balls from flour. This knowledge is passed on from mother to daughter and today the women of the village will share this knowledge with us. Once you've made your couscous, it will be finished (half-cooked and then dried), and packaged for you to take home as a souvenir.
After this, you'll head to the kitchen and help to make this important dish - take notes so that you can recreate it when you get home! And then, of course, you will sit down with the family and other women in the village to enjoy all of your hard work.
After eating and a little rest, you can go for a short walk in the gardens or head to a scenic overlook for coffee and then return to your accommodations in time for another delicious meal.
