Please note that international airfare is not included in the price of the trip package. Typically, airfare becomes available for booking around 330 days before the departure date. I will send you a reminder when airfare options becomes available.

If you would like me to purchase your airfare, please let me know at that time. For this trip, you will need to depart the US on October 9th, 2026 to ensure arrival in Portugal by midday on October 10th, 2026. Your arrival airport in Portugal will be Porto, and your return flight will depart from Faro. 

• October 10th arrival Airport  in Porto is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) Try to arrive by 12 noon if possible.
• October 18th departure airport in Algarve is Faro International Airport (FAO)

To ensure we can offer you the best value, please note that all prices for the trip are based on double occupancy, meaning two people sharing a room. As such, each participant must have a roommate.

If you do not have a roommate, we will be happy to assist in matching you with another traveler. However, if you prefer not to be matched with a roommate, a single supplement fee of $2850 will apply. This fee covers the additional cost of single occupancy and must be paid by June 11, 2026.

**Important Details:**

- **Roommate Requirement**: Each traveler must have a roommate to benefit from the double occupancy pricing.

- **Roommate Matching**: We offer a roommate matching service for those who do not have a roommate.

- **Single Supplement Fee**: If you choose not to have a roommate, a single supplement fee will be applied. This fee will be added to your invoice 120 days prior to departure and must be paid in full by June 11th 2026.

**Roommate Matching Process:**

1. **Two Matching Attempts**: We will make two attempts to match you with a suitable roommate.

2. **Acceptance of Match**: After two attempts, you must accept the roommate you are matched with.

3. **No Refunds**: If you do not accept the matched roommate and decide not to go on the trip, there will be no refunds.

- Initial Deposit: A deposit of $500 per person is required to secure your spot on the trip.

- Non-Refundable After 5 Days: The initial deposit becomes non-refundable after 5 days from the date of payment.

- All payments after the initial deposit will follow the timeline and conditions listed below. Bank transaction fees will not be refunded

Cancellation must be submitted via email and sent to info@bonvoyagechristine.com

- An initial deposit of $500 per person is required to secure your spot for the trip.

- The remaining balance for the trip will be divided into equal payments, with the goal of having the balance paid in full by July 10, 2026.

- Monthly payments are required to keep your account current. 

- Late payments will incur a late fee of $25.00 each

Obtaining travel insurance is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged. Travel insurance provides peace of mind and financial protection against unexpected events such as medical emergencies, trip cancellations, or lost luggage. It is advisable to purchase travel insurance within 15 days of making your initial down payment for the trip to ensure you receive the most comprehensive coverage.

I will send you a quote for travel insurance after you've paid your deposit.  You can review the details and choose to accept or decline the offer. If I do not receive a response, I will assume that you have declined the insurance.

Portugal’s historic charm includes stairs, hills, and cobblestone streets. This itinerary requires the ability to walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces, and that certain locations may not be fully accessible. Please notify BonVoyage Christine of any mobility needs before booking is finalized.
