We do not necessarily recommend either of these, but please read through the Scenic Booking Policies page where the Flexible Booking Plan and Penalty Relief Program are described, and let us know if you do want to add one of these to your booking. Note that you will still be required to purchase travel insurance as required by Scenic, with most plans including cancellation coverage that will reimburse you in the event of cancellation for a covered reason, depending upon the specific policy purchased.

NEW DESTINATIONS TRAVEL CLIENT AGREEMENT

When you retain New Destinations Travel (NDT) to help plan your travel, you're hiring a professional travel advisor to ensure that your trip is tailored to your taste, preferences, and budget. You get the benefit of our skill, experience and training, our professional relationships, and our industry connections. Our Professional Services Fee covers your consultation, our research and recommendations, preparation of quotes and itineraries, reserving and booking each element of your trip, securing quotes for comprehensive travel insurance, administration of your booking from deposit to departure, and follow-up post-trip with suppliers (as needed).

NDT has agreed to waive the professional travel planning services fee for this group trip, which has been organized and promoted by NDT. If a more extensive trip is requested in addition to the tour, it is possible that a fee may then be required for the additional planning services. Any additional fees will be discussed before being incurred.

PASSPORT NAMES

It is important to provide us with your name exactly as it appears on your passport. If you submit your registration and later discover the name submitted was incorrect, it is your responsibility to notify us as soon as possible. If a booking is made with an incorrect name and needs to be corrected, you will be responsible for any fees associated with that change. If you attempt to travel with an incorrect name on your documents, you could be denied boarding or admission to a country. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Scenic Cruises requires passengers to secure travel insurance with certain minimum requirements in order to participate in this cruise.

Please understand that we are not registered insurance agents and cannot legally provide specific advice or information regarding insurance. We will gladly secure a quote for you, upon request, and if NDT does not, or is not legally able to secure coverage on your behalf, you are responsible for purchasing a policy on your own.
