🏨 Resort Preferences

Needs & Wants - What is most important to you for this trip?

🛏️ Bedding Preference and/or Multiple Room Requests.

Occupancy rules and ages are very important for all-inclusive resorts.

Passports will be checked and recorded at check in, so accuracy is critical when we start to look at options. Number of people and the ages of children in each room must be included.

*** If you want GUARANTEED connecting rooms or need multiple bedroom options, you will have very limited options. Booking early is of utmost importance***

Many rooms are limited to 2 adults and many children age 12+ are considered "adult" when looking at occupancy rules. If you are a family of 4 or 5+, you will fall into this category quickly.

Example: 2 adults (44, 42) and 3 children (17, 15, 13). Room 1 - request a king for parents, Room 2 - request doubles with a sofa bed for the kids.

(Optional)

🚐 Transportation Preferences

1 - Private Transfers - Get to your resort fast, no other passengers except for your travel party will be in your vehicle. Typically you can choose to add drinks/snacks or request vehicle types/styles. Once you arrive, clear customs/immigration and have your luggage, you will look for your transfer company, give them your name and be on your way as soon as the vehicle is available. Best option for passengers prone to motion sickness.

Cost - typically about the same or a little more as "shared direct transfers" for parties of 2+. Best option!

2 - Shared Direct Transfers - These are transfers where you will share a vehicle with other random passengers, whom are also going to your resort. Your transfer goes directly to your resort, it does not make stops at other resorts. You will have to wait for all expected travelers to arrive, check in with the transfer company at the airport, clear immigration/customs and gather luggage. These are ok for parties of 2+ and sometimes there are complimentary upgrades available for this option, depending on the resort perks at the time of booking.

Cost - depending on your travel party size, sometimes more expensive than "private transfers."

3 - Shared Transfers - Not recommended. These are transfers where you will share a vehicle with other random passengers. Your transfer does NOT go directly to your resort, it will make stops at other resorts. This can add at least an hour to your travels on both arrival and departure.

Cost - not worth it, unless you are a single traveler and every dollar matters to you for this trip.

🌎 Desired Itinerary Location(s)

This information is vital to selecting the optimal environment and vibe for your travels.

Many times people find that they are actually more interested in finding the "perfect resort" and the destination they had in mind likely doesn't offer that specific resort experience they are seeking. This is very true for all-inclusive travel, the resort is your destination.

If your most important aspect of this trip is finding that "perfect resort" please indicate here that you are "Open to Locations" so we can consider the overall experience that you are seeking.

Popular Locations For All-Inclusive
Very Limited Or No Options For All-Inclusive (if these locations have any all-inclusive they are typically not recommended)
Mexican Caribbean: Cancun Hotel Zone, Isla Mujeres, Costa Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Puerto Morelos and the general area of the Riviera Maya
Mexican Caribbean: Tulum, Holbox, Bacalar may list some "all-inclusive" options but they are not true all-inclusive or may have the location in their name but are not even close to the actual location or on the beach.
Mexican Pacific: Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita, Riviera Nayarit, Cabo San Lucas, Huatulco
Mexican Pacific: Sayulita and many smaller cities outside of Puerto Vallarta. Cabo San Lucas has more true luxury options that are not all-inclusive. Mazatlan has a few options.
Caribbean: Dominican Republic, Jamaica
Caribbean: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonair, Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Puerto Rico, St Lucia, St Barts, St Kitts & Nevis, St Martin/Maarten, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos, US & British Virgin Island.
Central & South America: Not recommended for a beach vacation.
Central & South America: Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama
US and Exotic Locations: In the US, there are some elevated-luxury dude ranches or mountain/spa options. There is one adults-only option in Florida, pricing more than double other locations around the globe. For more exotic options, there are some places in Africa (safari), Maldives, Europe (ski/beach), Thailand, and Fiji. Many times these do not include alcohol or entertainment.

🏥 Insurance - Travel Protection

Start thinking about the coverage you will need now. Do you have the following...

- family members or pets that are sick and could cause you to want to cancel?

- travel during hurricane season (start of May to end of November - strongest storm months are typically September and October)?

- a job the may require you to work and cause you to cancel?

- financially, if you lose the money for this trip due to cancellation or travel issues it would be difficult to say goodbye to your travel funds?

- great credit card coverage for travel issues (whole trip must be on the same card) but need to have better health coverage?

- health insurance that is only valid in the US (you likely fall into this category - a miniscule percentage of US citizens have insurance valid outside of the US)?

TYPICAL OPTIONS

A - Minimum Requirement - Medical Coverage Only, During Travel. No pre-travel cancellation/change coverage or during travel incident coverage. If you have an annual travel insurance plan (not your regular US health insurance) or just want medical coverage, please inquire.

B - CANCEL ANY TIME/ANY REASON - Cash Back & Medical Coverage - this is the most expensive and must be added at the time of your FIRST deposit.

C - CANCEL ANY TIME/COVERED REASON - Cash Back & Medical Coverage - this is less expensive, kids under 18 are FREE when traveling with parents (Allianz), and you can add it when you purchase your air.

If you have any PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL NEEDS, you MUST purchase your insurance at the time of your FIRST deposit.

Important Note:  Insurance doesn’t cover any price changes that may occur to a passenger dropping out of their room reservation. That means if you have 2, 3, 4 people in a room and 1 decides not to go, the other remaining passengers must cover the cost of the room for the person that dropped out of the trip.

Insurance - Travel Protection Plan payments are not refundable.
