Cruise lines, airlines, hotels, and tour operators all charge penalties for cancellation, ranging from deposit only to fully non-refundable. Also, most health insurance policies do not have international coverage. Travel insurance can protect you in the event of Trip Cancellation, Trip Delay, Trip Interruption, Missed Connection, Baggage Loss, Theft or Damage, Baggage Delay, Emergency Medical and Dental Expenses, and Emergency Medical Transportation, among other unforeseen circumstances. Also note that in order for you to obtain coverage for certain pre-existing conditions, or for supplier default, your policy must be purchased at the time of booking or shortly thereafter (depending on the terms of the policy).

Vertical Escape Vacations, LLC. invests time and money in education, achieving Specialist status, along with certifications, in a variety of travel specialties. We attend familiarization trips, conferences, seminars, online training, and supply a wealth of first-hand experience from destinations all over the globe. We ask you will make a commitment to us, as we will commit our time & resources to you.

RESEARCH RETAINERS & FEES

Unlike many travel agencies that now charge upfront research and/or planning fees, Vertical Escape Vacations proudly offers COMPLIMENTARY professional travel planning, when you book your trip with us. 

However, to ensure we continue providing our high-quality service at no cost to our serious clients, we do inform you of our Professional Services Fees (also known as a Plan to Go Fees and Admin Fees). These fees are only applied if the work we complete, based on your specific requests, does not result in a booking. We value everyone's time and we kindly ask you to reciprocate.

Your travel professional will discuss any potential fees before beginning to plan your vacation. These are also located in our Terms & Conditions.

Please understand that we are not registered insurance agents, and cannot legally provide specific advice or information regarding insurance. A quote will be provided, upon request, and if Vertical Escape Vacations, LLC. does not, or is not legally able to secure coverage on your behalf, we advise that you purchase a policy on your own. I acknowledge that Vertical Escape Vacations, LLC. has recommended or offered travel insurance protection to me. Should I choose not to purchase such a policy, I accept all responsibility for declining to secure coverage.
