MPKO Strategies, LLC DBA Studio M Travel Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Studio M Travel, a travel planning service operated by MPKO Strategies, LLC (doing business as Studio M Travel), and affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. By engaging our services in any way - including requesting proposals, receiving quotes, or confirming a booking - you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Role

Studio M Travel provides travel planning, consulting, and booking services, including itineraries for accommodations, transportation, activities, and more. We are an independent affiliate of Fora Travel, Inc. (“Fora”), a host agency and technology platform. You understand that:

  • We are not agents or employees of Fora.
  • Fora is not responsible for the services we provide.
  • Fora will not be liable for any issues or disputes related to your trip.

2. Service Fees

Studio M Travel charges a non-refundable service fee, quoted individually based on the nature of your trip (individual, group, wedding, or corporate). This fee covers our time and expertise and will be provided in writing before any work begins.

No itinerary research or booking support will begin until this fee is paid in full.

3. Your Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate traveler and payment information
  • Review all travel documents promptly upon receipt
  • Comply with supplier policies (airlines, hotels, etc.)
  • Meet payment deadlines

You are responsible for ensuring that all travelers in your party meet passport, visa, and health entry requirements. We do not accept responsibility for denied boarding or entry.

4. Payment & Supplier Terms

All travel bookings are subject to supplier terms, pricing, availability, and change policies. Final prices are not guaranteed until payment is made and confirmed. You may be asked to pay a supplier directly, or via a payment processor (e.g., Stripe or Fora’s payment platform).

If you authorize us to charge your card, you represent that you are an authorized user and agree not to file chargebacks except in cases of clear fraud or non-delivery.

5. Booking Changes & Cancellations

Cancellation Support Fee
We understand that plans change - but cancellations require administrative time and vendor coordination. Therefore, if you cancel a confirmed trip after final itinerary approval and booking, Studio M Travel will charge a Cancellation Support Fee as follows:

This fee is in addition to any penalties or cancellation fees charged by travel suppliers. You agree to notify us in writing of any change or cancellation request, and we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to process changes when possible.

6. Modifications & Refunds

All modification requests must be submitted in writing. Refunds for canceled travel are subject solely to the policies of the third-party suppliers. Studio M Travel does not guarantee refunds from any supplier and cannot expedite processing timelines.

If a supplier offers credit instead of a refund, that credit is subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for lost value or expiration.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for cancellations, delays, medical events, and supplier defaults. If you decline coverage, you accept full responsibility for any losses.

Studio M Travel may assist with obtaining a policy, but we are not an insurance provider and cannot advise on policies or guarantee coverage decisions.

8. Travel Advisories & Entry Requirements

Travel involves risk. It is your responsibility to review all travel advisories (e.g., from the U.S. Department of State) and comply with visa, health, and safety protocols. Studio M Travel is not responsible for trip interruptions or losses due to government regulations, pandemic-related issues, or denied entry.

9. Limitation of Liability

We act solely as an agent for the travel providers you choose. We are not responsible for:

  • Supplier actions, omissions, or changes
  • Injuries, damages, delays, or losses
  • Acts of war, weather, strikes, or force majeure events

Any recovery from Studio M Travel is limited to the service fees and commissions received directly by us.

10. Use of Personal Information

You authorize us to share traveler information with travel suppliers to complete bookings. We will only share necessary details, and we do not sell or misuse your information.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be handled in courts located in San Diego County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will apply to your booking, and continued use of our services indicates your acceptance.

13. Agreement to Terms

By requesting services or making a booking with Studio M Travel, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
