Go Away Travel, LLC

Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Go Away Travel, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") and our clients ("you" or "your") regarding travel services booked through us. By engaging in our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Bookings and Payments

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Deposits and final payments are due as specified in our booking agreements.
  • Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your booking. Deposit and refund upon a cancellation is dependent on the supplier chosen.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice until your deposit is made or your vacation is paid in full, whichever the supplier requires.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • Cancellation fees, as outlined in the booking agreements or supplier policies, will apply.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable timeframe and dependent on supplier issuing said refund.
  • Where applicable, Go Away Travel will assist with refund to the best of our ability. Although some instances may require the traveler to request and follow with supplier for refund. We will advise as needed.

4. Travel Insurance and Documents

Travel insurance protects you and your investment in case of trip interruptions, cancellations, lost luggage, missed connections, or medical emergencies. Go Away Travel is not an insurance broker and therefore can only provide quotes or recommendations for reputable insurance companies.

  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events.
  • You may choose to travel without travel insurance, however a waiver needs to be signed.
  • You are responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents, including passports and visas.
  • Passports need six (6) months remaining to travel abroad.

5. Liability

  • We act as an “agent” for third-party travel suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and transportation providers. While we carefully select trusted third-party suppliers, their actions are outside our control. We do strive to use the best third-party suppliers and suppliers who are reputable.
  • If a supplier should cancel or delay a portion of your trip prior to you leaving, we will assist in exploring alternatives with the supplier or other available options, if possible. However, this may come at an added cost, for which you are responsible. If you are in destination and this occurs, we will provide reasonable assistance in contacting the supplier and exploring available remedies.
  • Should you be unable to use part of your booked arrangements, including but not limited to missed flights, late arrivals, or personal changes in plans, we will work with suppliers to explore solutions, but their policies will apply.
  • We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or other disruptions beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, airline or airport issues, or supplier operational challenges.

6. Force Majeure

In the unlikely event of unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, such as natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or other major disruptions beyond our reasonable control (often referred to as 'Force Majeure'), we may be prevented from fulfilling certain aspects of your travel arrangements. While we will always do our best to assist you in finding alternative solutions or rescheduling your trip, we cannot be held liable for any losses or additional expenses incurred due to these extraordinary circumstances. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as it can provide valuable coverage and support in such situations.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Your State/Jurisdiction.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

9. Travel Planning Fees

At Go Away Travel, we pride ourselves on creating meticulously curated travel experiences, tailored to your unique needs.
