Updated on: Nov 23, 2024

Terms and Conditions:

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Aim For Travel, LLC ("Aim For Travel," "we," "our," "us") and the Client ("you," "your"). By booking travel services with Aim For Travel, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as those of each supplier involved in your travel arrangements. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

Aim For Travel provides travel planning and booking services, including cruises, flights, accommodations, tours, and other travel-related services. All services are subject to availability and the specific terms and conditions of the suppliers, including airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and tour operators.

Certain services, such as personalized travel planning, require a non-refundable planning fee as outlined in Section 3.

2. Supplier Terms and Conditions

You acknowledge that each supplier (e.g., airline, hotel, cruise line, tour operator) has its own terms and conditions that apply to your travel arrangements. By booking with Aim For Travel, you agree to review and accept the terms and conditions of each supplier relevant to your booking. Aim For Travel is not responsible for any terms imposed by suppliers or for any disputes arising from your acceptance of those terms.

3. Planning Fee

After submitting a trip request form, you will schedule a complimentary 20-minute consultation via phone or video to discuss your travel needs in more detail.

If you choose to proceed with Aim For Travel’s services, a non-refundable planning fee of $50 is required before research and trip planning begin. This fee ensures personalized service, comprehensive research, and access to the best travel options tailored to your preferences.

What the Planning Fee Includes:

  • Up to four rounds of itinerary revisions to ensure your travel plans align with your preferences and needs.
  • Personalized recommendations for accommodations, transportation, activities, and dining (as applicable).
  • Assistance with booking and securing reservations once you approve the final itinerary.
  • Access to Aim For Travel's expertise, resources, and partnerships with trusted suppliers to deliver the best value and experiences.

What the Planning Fee Does Not Include:

  • Booking fees for travel components (e.g., flights, accommodations, tours) charged by third-party suppliers.
  • Additional research or itinerary revisions beyond the initial four exchanges. If more than four rounds of revisions are required, an additional $50 fee will be charged per new itinerary prepared.
  • Travel insurance or other optional travel add-ons (these will be quoted separately upon request).

The planning fee is non-refundable and serves as compensation for the time and expertise provided during the trip planning process. This fee is separate from any deposits required to confirm your travel bookings with suppliers.

By paying this fee, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

4. Booking Terms

4.1 Deposit and Payment:

  • A deposit will be required to confirm your booking. Each supplier’s deposit policy varies. In some cases, deposits may be refundable up to a certain date, while in others, they may be non-refundable. The specific terms for your deposit will be advised at the time of booking.
  • Full payment is required before the travel date, with due dates provided at booking. Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation.

4.2 Pricing:

  • All quotes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed.
  • Prices may change due to factors beyond Aim For Travel’s control, including fuel surcharges, currency fluctuations, and government-imposed taxes.

4.3 Payment Methods:

  • We accept payments via credit card, debit card, or other methods as advised. Any transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations:

  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing. The cancellation fees vary based on the supplier’s policies.
  • Refunds, if any, will be processed per the supplier’s terms and may take up to 120 days.
  • Planning fees are non-refundable and are not subject to supplier refund policies.

5.2 Aim For Travel-Initiated Cancellations:

  • Aim For Travel reserves the right to cancel bookings or discontinue our services at our discretion, including but not limited to situations where unforeseen circumstances, health, safety, or other concerns may affect the success of the trip. In such cases, we will work to provide alternative options or a refund, where applicable, to ensure a smooth transition.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost baggage.

Please note that purchasing travel insurance does not guarantee a refund of Aim For Travel's planning fee or deposits in case of cancellation. Aim For Travel may recommend insurance options through reputable providers, including Allianz, Travel Guard and others as appropriate. However, Aim For Travel assumes no liability for any claims, disputes, or issues arising with the insurer.

7. Travel Documentation

You are responsible for obtaining, carrying, and ensuring the validity of all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and health certificates, well in advance of your travel date. It is also your responsibility to be aware of the specific requirements for each destination. Passports should be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Aim For Travel is not liable for any disruptions, delays, or denied entry resulting from insufficient or expired documentation.

8. Health and Fitness Requirements

Some travel itineraries may involve physical activities. You are responsible for assessing your health and fitness level and must inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your travel plans.

9. Changes to Bookings

9.1 Client-Initiated Changes:

Any changes to your travel arrangements may incur additional charges based on the supplier’s policies.

For details on itinerary revisions and additional fees, refer to Section 3: Planning Fee.

9.2 Aim For Travel-Initiated Changes:

We reserve the right to make necessary changes to bookings due to supplier availability, weather conditions, or other factors. We will notify you promptly and provide alternative arrangements, where possible.

10. Liability Waiver

Aim For Travel acts solely as an intermediary between you and third-party suppliers. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by actions or omissions of suppliers or by circumstances beyond our control, including acts of nature, government actions, or strikes.

11. Limitation of Liability

Aim For Travel’s liability for damages shall not exceed the amount you paid for the travel arrangements. Aim For Travel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will use your personal information only to provide travel services and improve your experience with us. We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to fulfill your travel arrangements or as required by law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of California. In the event of a dispute, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs incurred in connection with the dispute.

14. Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Terms

By booking with Aim For Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of each supplier involved in your travel arrangements.
