Please read these Terms carefully before submitting any inquiry or working with Avventura Vida Consulting (“Planner,” “we,” “our”). By proceeding with an inquiry, consultation, or planning engagement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Avventura Vida Consulting provides professional travel planning, retreat coordination, and event advisory services for individuals, small groups, and businesses.
Our services may include destination research, itinerary curation, vendor coordination, guest communications, and on-site logistical support.

We work with trusted independent third-party suppliers such as hotels, villas, transportation providers, tour operators, and activity partners (“Suppliers”). These Suppliers operate independently and are solely responsible for providing the products and services booked through them.

We act as an advisor, planner, and coordinator—not as the owner, operator, or insurer of any travel or hospitality service.

A non-refundable Planning Fee is required to begin any travel or retreat project.

• The Planning Fee covers our time, research, expertise, communication, and itinerary design.
• This fee is separate from and not applied toward your actual travel costs, accommodations, or Supplier deposits.
• No work will commence until the Planning Fee has been received in full.
• The Planning Fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including client cancellation or change of mind, as it compensates for professional services already rendered.

All subsequent payments made directly to Suppliers are subject to each Supplier’s individual terms, conditions, and refund policies.

Avventura Vida Consulting coordinates arrangements on your behalf but does not control the operations of any Supplier.
Each Supplier maintains its own terms of service, booking conditions, and liability limits.
By engaging with us, you acknowledge that all travel, accommodations, and activities are ultimately provided by independent third parties.

We are not responsible for:

• Any act, error, or omission by a Supplier;
• Changes in itineraries, accommodations, or services beyond our control;
• Delays, cancellations, or losses due to weather, natural disasters, mechanical failure, strikes, pandemics, political events, or other force-majeure circumstances.

Planner does not book or manage flights to or from destinations unless specifically stated as an internal portion of a package (e.g., inter-island or regional transfers). Clients are responsible for their own international or domestic flights to the starting point of their journey.

Clients engaging Avventura Vida Consulting agree to:

• Provide accurate traveler information (legal names as shown on passports, birthdates, dietary or medical considerations, etc.).
• Communicate promptly regarding decisions, payments, and required forms.
• Obtain all necessary passports, visas, vaccinations, and entry documents.
• Purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip interruption, cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and baggage loss.
• Comply with all local laws, customs, and Supplier policies during travel or retreat participation.

We reserve the right to pause or cancel planning services if required information or payments are not provided in a timely manner.

Travel insurance is mandatory for all travel and retreat experiences coordinated by Avventura Vida Consulting.
While we may recommend trusted insurance providers, the client bears sole responsibility for selecting coverage appropriate to their needs.

Declining insurance means accepting full responsibility for all losses, delays, medical emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances during travel.

Participation in travel, retreats, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: transportation delays, weather events, natural terrain, physical exertion, and variations in international standards of safety or hygiene.

By engaging our services and/or participating in an Experience coordinated by us, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with travel and related activities. You agree that participation is entirely voluntary and that you are physically and emotionally fit to take part.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avventura Vida Consulting and Maria Herrera shall not be liable for:

• Injury, illness, loss, delay, damage, inconvenience, or expense arising from acts or omissions of any Supplier;
• Acts of nature, weather, strikes, theft, or government restrictions;
• Traveler’s failure to obtain required documents, meet deadlines, or follow instructions;
• Emotional distress or consequential damages of any kind.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Avventura Vida Consulting, its owner, contractors, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising out of your participation in any travel, retreat, or experience planned or facilitated by us, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.

We are not responsible for failure to perform our obligations or delays in service due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, labor strikes, or government restrictions.

In such cases, planning fees remain non-refundable. Supplier terms will determine any postponement or rescheduling options available.

All itineraries, planning materials, supplier lists, proposals, and branded documents remain the intellectual property of Avventura Vida Consulting. These materials are provided solely for your personal use in connection with the contracted trip or retreat and may not be copied, distributed, or repurposed without written consent.

Avventura Vida Consulting maintains open, respectful, and timely communication with all clients and partners.
We ask the same courtesy in return.
Harassment, abusive behavior, or repeated non-responsiveness may result in termination of services without refund.

Submitting an inquiry or engaging our services constitutes acknowledgment that you:

• Have read and understood these Terms;
• Accept responsibility for reviewing Supplier terms and purchasing appropriate insurance;
• Understand that planning fees are non-refundable and separate from Supplier costs;
• Agree to release Avventura Vida Consulting and its owner from liability as outlined above.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the jurisdiction stated in the formal service agreement.

By submitting an inquiry or checking the acknowledgment box, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the Avventura Vida Consulting Travel & Retreat Terms of Service and Liability Waiver.
