TERMS & CONDITIONS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
By engaging Live Longitude Travel, LLC (“Live Longitude Travel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), submitting payment, or authorizing charges on your credit card, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These Terms constitute part of your contract for professional travel planning and related services.
1. Role of Live Longitude Travel
Live Longitude Travel acts solely as an agent for third-party travel suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation providers, and destination management companies (“Suppliers”).
Live Longitude Travel does not own, operate, manage, or control any Supplier and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, errors, delays, or performance. All travel arrangements are subject to the individual Supplier’s terms, conditions, and policies.
2. Scope of Services
Live Longitude Travel provides professional travel planning, consulting, and booking services, which may include itinerary design, research, coordination, reservations, and logistical guidance.
Live Longitude Travel does not supervise on-site services, or guarantee Supplier performance. While we advocate on your behalf when issues arise, final resolution remains subject to Supplier policies.
3. Planning Fees
Live Longitude Travel may charge non-refundable planning fees for professional travel planning services.
- Planning fees are per trip and vary based on destination, complexity, length of travel, number of travelers, and type of itinerary.
- Planning fees compensate Live Longitude Travel for time, expertise, research, design, and coordination.
- Planning fees are separate from Supplier payments.
- Planning fees are earned once planning services commence and are non-refundable, regardless of trip cancellation, changes, or Supplier actions.
Payment of a planning fee constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
4. Payments & Credit Card Authorization
Live Longitude Travel may process payments on your behalf as a service. However:
- All funds are paid directly to Suppliers
- Live Longitude Travel does not hold, escrow, or control client funds
- All Supplier payments are subject to the Supplier’s cancellation, refund, and change policies
By authorizing payment, you grant Live Longitude Travel permission to charge your credit card for approved planning fees and Supplier services. You agree not to dispute or initiate chargebacks for authorized charges made in accordance with these Terms.
5. Pricing, Availability & Changes
- All prices are subject to availability and can change at any time without notice until payment to the supplier is made.
- Supplier pricing, taxes, fees, surcharges, and fuel costs may increase at any time prior to departure.
- Airlines, cruise lines, and other Suppliers may change schedules, routing, accommodations, or itineraries without notice.
Live Longitude Travel is not responsible for such changes.
6. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
All cancellations or changes must be submitted in writing.
- Supplier cancellation and refund policies apply.
- Live Longitude Travel does not issue refunds for Supplier services.
- Planning fees are non-refundable.
- Administrative service fees may apply for changes or cancellations.
Fear of travel, political unrest, health concerns, or personal circumstances do not constitute grounds for a refund unless permitted by the Supplier.
7. Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)
Travel insurance is optional but strongly recommended.
If you decline travel insurance, you acknowledge that you may be financially responsible for losses related to:
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Medical expenses or emergency evacuation
- Delays or missed connections
- Supplier bankruptcy or service cessation
Certain benefits (including coverage for pre-existing medical conditions) require insurance to be purchased within a specific timeframe after initial deposit.
If I decline travel insurance I understand that I am financially responsible for all losses not covered by insurance.
8. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with:
- Passport validity and condition
- Visa requirements
- Vaccinations and health documentation
- Entry, transit, and re-entry requirements
Live Longitude Travel does not verify or guarantee compliance. Failure to meet requirements may result in denied boarding or entry with no refund.
9. Health, Safety & Force Majeure
Travel involves inherent risks. By traveling, you voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, including but not limited to illness, injury, delays, political unrest, weather events, acts of terrorism, pandemics, labor disputes, supplier insolvency, and acts of God.
Live Longitude Travel is not responsible for events beyond our control.
10. Supplier Responsibility
Live Longitude Travel is not liable for:
- Supplier negligence or default
- Changes to itineraries or accommodations
- Bankruptcy or cessation of Supplier services
- Accidents, injuries, losses, or damages
Any claims must be pursued directly with the Supplier.
11. Accuracy of Traveler Information
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that all names, dates of birth, and personal details match a valid government-issued identification exactly.
Authorization of payment confirms your approval of all traveler information provided.
12. Governing Law & Venue
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana. Any dispute arising from or related to this agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of Montana.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Live Longitude Travel, submitting payment, or authorizing charges, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION STATEMENT
Payment authorization constitutes acceptance of Live Longitude Travel’s Terms & Conditions, including non-refundable planning fees, payment authorization, supplier cancellation policies, assumption of risk, and governing law.
