Updated on: Jun 19, 2025
All reservation services provided by and travel services coordinated by Dana Braun Travel, LLC, doing business as Aisle + Away Travel Co. are governed by and subject to these Terms and Conditions. By booking a reservation online using our website at www.aisleaway.com (our “Website”) or through one of our representatives, or by making payment for a reservation made by you or on your behalf, you have agreed to and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
PLANNING FEES SCOPE OF SERVICES & ROLE AS A TRAVEL ADVISOR
Dana Braun Travel, LLC d/b/a Aisle + Away Travel Co. acts solely as a travel advisor and booking agent. We assist clients by researching travel options, providing destination guidance, preparing custom itineraries, and coordinating reservations through third-party suppliers including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and ground transportation providers (“Suppliers”).
We do not operate, own, or control any travel Supplier or the services they provide. All travel services are subject to the terms and conditions of those Suppliers. Our role is to facilitate your arrangements and advocate on your behalf when possible — but we are not responsible for the performance or delivery of services by third parties.
As a travel advisor:
- We provide planning advice, itinerary design, and booking coordination
- We recommend services based on experience and supplier vetting
- We serve as your point of contact before and during travel for guidance and supplier coordination
We do not:
- Own or operate the travel services booked (e.g., flights, hotels, tours, transportation)
- Guarantee pricing, availability, or performance by Suppliers
- Provide insurance or legal documentation beyond supplier policies
- Issue travel documents — these are delivered by the respective suppliers
By working with us, you acknowledge and understand the difference between the services provided by Aisle + Away Travel Co. and those offered directly by third-party travel Suppliers.
PLANNING FEES
Aisle + Away Travel Co. charges non-refundable planning and consultation fees for travel services. These fees cover time, research, customized itinerary development, and access to our preferred travel supplier network. All planning fees are 100% non-refundable, regardless of whether you proceed with booking or complete travel. Payment of this fee constitutes agreement to these terms.
While we use our professional expertise to design custom itineraries and recommend vetted Suppliers, we do not guarantee any specific outcome, experience quality, or service standard. All service delivery is solely the responsibility of the Supplier.
THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS
Aisle + Away Travel Co. is only responsible for reserving the items listed in the reservation details. The third-party suppliers providing transportation, accommodations, sightseeing arrangements, tours, excursions and other components of your vacation or trip (collectively, “Suppliers”) are independent contractors and are not agents, affiliates, representatives or employees of Aisle + Away Travel Co., or any of its subsidiaries. Aisle + Away Travel Co. has no ownership interest in any Supplier. Any use of the Aisle + Away Travel Co. name by a Supplier is for identification purposes only and does not constitute ownership, agency, supervision or control by Aisle + Away Travel Co.. All documentation, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the Supplier.
We do not supervise or control the acts, omissions, or failures of any Supplier and are under no obligation to intervene in any dispute between you and any Supplier.
CALL RECORDING & COMMUNICATIONS RETENTION
For quality assurance, training, and record keeping purposes, all phone calls with Aisle + Away Travel Co. may be monitored, recorded, and transcribed, including those conducted through third-party platforms such as OpenPhone, Zoom, Tern, or other integrated communication tools.
By engaging in a phone conversation with our team, you acknowledge and consent to such recording and transcription in accordance with applicable law.
Additionally, we retain copies of all written communications, including but not limited to emails, text messages, website form submissions, and messages sent through third-party platforms. These records are securely stored and used solely for business purposes, including service verification, client support, and compliance with industry standards.
We do not sell or share your communications data with unauthorized third parties. All retained communications are protected in accordance with our internal privacy and data handling policies.
GROUPS
If you are traveling as part of a group of 10 or more rooms, different deposit, payment and cancellation policies may apply than those set forth in these Terms and Conditions. See your Group Sales Contract for details.
GROUP LEADER CANCELLATIONS & EVENT-BASED TRIPS
For any travel arranged for a group-related event — including but not limited to destination weddings, milestone birthdays, retreats, or family reunions — Dana Braun Travel, LLC d/b/a Aisle + Away Travel Co. is not responsible for the cancellation of the event itself, or any resulting cancellations of individual travel arrangements.
If a group leader, host, or event organizer cancels the group trip, it is the responsibility of each individual traveler to manage their own reservation. We are not responsible for securing alternate arrangements, recovering nonrefundable payments, or rebooking travel unless separately contracted to do so.
Additionally, if a group fails to meet the minimum number of bookings required under the supplier’s group contract, the group contract may be forfeited. In such cases, reservations may be subject to re-pricing at the current consumer rate, which may be higher than the original quoted rate. The traveler is responsible for paying any difference in cost, and Aisle + Away Travel Co. is not liable for any increase in price resulting from the group not fulfilling its contractual obligations.
All supplier terms — including refund, credit, and cancellation policies — apply on a per-reservation basis. Individual travelers are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect against event cancellation, travel disruptions, and related losses.
OTHER TRAVELERS OR CONTACTS
If you book services for other travelers, you must make sure that you have the right to do so. You must obtain the consent of other individuals who may accompany you prior to providing their names, as they may be unable to view or change any information you provide on their behalf. By providing the personal information of another traveler or third party, you represent that you have all necessary authority or have obtained all necessary consents from such person to enable us to collect, use, and disclose his or her personal information as set forth in our Privacy Policy.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT
Aisle + Away Travel Co. accepts payment by credit and debit cards issued on the following: American Express, Visa, Mastercard or Discover. For land/air bookings paid by credit card, the supplier may split the payment between the resort and the air carrier booked. The land portion of the payment will be processed immediately and the airline will process payment at the time the air tickets are issued. Please note: Groups, Early Booking Bonus, and other special bookings may have different payment and cancellation policies and will be advised at time of reservation.
If payment is not received by the due date, all components of the booking will be cancelled without a refund. A credit card authorization form (available at www.aisleaway.com/payment) must be returned to your Aisle + Away Travel Co. agent in order to process any payments toward travel arranged by Aisle + Away Travel Co.
Aisle + Away Travel Co. is not responsible for any penalties, fare increases, or fees incurred due to late payments — all such costs are the responsibility of the traveler. Any other person or entity (including a travel agent) who receives monies from individual travelers does so strictly as an agent of such travelers.
USE OF THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM (TERN)
Dana Braun Travel, LLC d/b/a Aisle + Away Travel Co. uses a third-party platform, Tern (accessible via app.tern.travel), to facilitate itinerary management, communication, call scheduling, and payment collection. By using this platform, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by Tern’s separate terms of service and privacy policy, which govern your interaction with the platform.
While we strive to ensure seamless coordination, Aisle + Away Travel Co. is not responsible for any errors, outages, or data issues arising from your use of Tern, nor are we liable for delays or disruptions in itinerary access, payment processing, or communication resulting from issues within the Tern platform.
We do not own or operate Tern and have no control over its systems or content. Any technical or account-related inquiries related to the use of the platform should be directed to Tern support.
RATES
All rates are quoted in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise noted. Rates are subject to change at any time, without notice. Aisle + Away Travel Co. reserves the right to request to make adjustments on your behalf if a particular rate was incorrectly stated. Aisle + Away Travel Co. can guarantee rates only for reservations paid in full; therefore, it is recommended that full payment be made at time of booking.
Airline tickets must be paid and issued to avoid rate increases, fuel surcharges and cancellation of airline reservations. Government and Supplier-imposed taxes and fees are subject to increase at any time, must be paid by the traveler and are not the responsibility of Aisle + Away Travel Co.
QUOTED RATES DO NOT INCLUDE
Airline baggage charges, seat assignment fees or other ancillary fees, passport and visa fees, some departure taxes, gratuities, meals, beverages, resort fees, hotel energy surcharges, parking and valet fees, insurance, telephone calls, additional bedding charges, laundry service, and other miscellaneous charges of a personal nature are not included in our quoted fees, except where specifically noted.
REVISIONS, CANCELLATIONS AND SUPPLIER POLICIES
Aisle + Away Travel Co. does not charge a cancellation fee for its services. However, any revisions, cancellations, or changes to a reservation are subject to the terms, fees, and penalties imposed by the third-party suppliers fulfilling your travel services (including hotels, resorts, tour operators, cruise lines, and airlines).
Most suppliers maintain strict cancellation, refund, and modification policies, which may include:
- Nonrefundable payments
- Cancellation penalties
- Name change restrictions (which may be treated as cancellations)
- Issuance of travel credits or vouchers in lieu of refunds
Dana Braun Travel, LLC d/b/a Aisle + Away Travel Co. does not own or control these suppliers and cannot override their policies. By booking with us, you agree to abide by each supplier’s specific terms and conditions.
We are not responsible for:
- Changes in supplier policies
- Denied refund requests
- The method, timing, or form of reimbursement (if any)
Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be granted for unused or partially used services. Travelers may be required to provide supporting documentation to request refunds or credits, where permitted by the supplier.
If you have questions about a specific supplier’s policy, we are happy to clarify, but we do not guarantee eligibility for exceptions or refunds.
CHARGEBACK
Your signed charge authorization is a binding agreement for charging your card, and as such you waive any right to a chargeback in the case of trip delays, changes, or cancellations for any cause (excepting fraud), including a force majeure event, and you agree to refund policies and procedures as outlined in the terms and conditions of the suppliers operating components of your trip.
In the event that you attempt, without our authorization, to chargeback, reverse, or recollect a trip payment already made, we reserve the right to collect all additional costs, fees, and expenses associated with such chargeback, reversal, or recollection including, without limitation, attorney fees.
NO SHOWS
Failure to travel without prior notification is considered a no-show. No-show penalties can be up to the entire cost of reservation and are subject to policies and procedures of the travel Suppliers.
DELAYED ARRIVAL OR MISSED FLIGHT NOTIFICATION
It is the traveler’s responsibility to notify Aisle + Away Travel Co. immediately in the event of a missed flight, travel delay, or change in arrival date or time — especially if the delay causes the traveler to arrive later than originally scheduled or on a subsequent day of the reservation.
Failure to arrive on the assigned check-in date without prior notice may result in the resort cancelling your entire reservation without refund, as per the resort’s no-show policy. We are not responsible for any losses if you fail to inform us in time.
Prompt notice allows us to contact the resort to request a late arrival or delayed check-in accommodation on your behalf. While we will make every effort to support you, approval is solely at the resort’s discretion and may be subject to additional fees or availability.
If airport transportation was booked, rescheduling the transfer may result in additional costs, which are the responsibility of the traveler.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is optional but highly recommended. Coverage varies depending on individual travel need and policy. Insurance is due in full at time of booking and coverage begins at time of booking. Payment for cancel-for-any-reason insurance is due in full at the initial time of booking. A travel insurance quote will automatically be offered to you in a pricing proposal.
Aisle + Away Travel Co. and its agents are not licensed insurance agents but are authorized to sell a policy to protect your travel investment. Please contact the insurance company directly with policy questions. If you decline insurance, you must do so in writing or by selecting decline on your vacation contract. If you decline to purchase travel insurance, you fully understand that Aisle + Away Travel Co. is not liable or responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of cancellation & interruption, emergency medical/transportation, loss of baggage & personal effects, flight & travel accident, and/or rental car physical damage.
TRAVELER IDENTIFICATION AND PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires all airline passengers to provide Secure Flight Passenger Data (SFPD), including:
- Full Name as it Appears on Government-Issued I.D.
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Redress Number (If Available)
The name on all reservations and travel documents must exactly match the photo ID used during travel. Travelers are responsible for any fees, penalties, or denied boarding resulting from mismatched or incomplete information.
For domestic air travel within the United States, passengers will be required to present an acceptable form of identification that is REAL ID compliant (or an approved alternative such as a passport). Beginning May 7, 2025, standard state-issued driver’s licenses without a REAL ID designation will no longer be accepted for domestic flights. It is the traveler’s responsibility to confirm their ID meets TSA requirements.
For international air travel, U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book. A passport card is not valid for international flights and cannot be used in place of a passport book. The passport book must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond your scheduled return date.
It is each traveler’s responsibility to verify entry requirements for all destinations, including visa needs, vaccination records, and documentation for minors. No refunds will be issued for losses resulting from failure to obtain or present required travel documents.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Travel documents will be issued approximately two weeks prior to departure once full payment is received. You may be subject to a document reissue fee of $25 per booking. Supplier penalties may also apply for the replacement of lost documents.
AIR TRAVEL, SCHEDULE RECONFIRMATION, CHECK-IN
Your airline ticket constitutes a contract between you and the air carrier, even when purchased through Dana Braun Travel, LLC d/b/a Aisle + Away Travel Co. By purchasing air travel through us, you acknowledge and agree that Aisle + Away Travel Co. acts solely as a booking agent and does not own, operate, or control the operations of any airline.
We are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, delay, loss, accident, or disruption related to your air travel, including but not limited to any act, error, or omission by the airline, its agents, or employees. This includes, without limitation, schedule changes, failure to deliver services, partial or inadequate service, denial of boarding, seat reassignments, refund refusals, baggage mishandling, fee changes, fare increases, fuel surcharges, bankruptcies, or cessation of airline operations.
Aisle + Away Travel Co. does not hold or handle client funds for airline tickets and is not the Merchant of Record, as defined by the U.S. Department of Transportation. All funds are paid directly to the airline through the designated payment system. Any refund or credit due as a result of airline cancellation, delay, baggage fee, or seating change must be obtained directly from the airline, and not through Aisle + Away Travel Co.
We assume no responsibility for air schedule changes or airline cancellations. Please note that failure to board an outbound or continuing flight may result in automatic cancellation of your return flights and forfeiture of the fare. In certain countries, departure taxes may be required in cash upon exit and are the traveler’s sole responsibility.
We recommend checking in at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights. Flight times should be reconfirmed 24 hours in advance for domestic travel and 72 hours in advance for international departures.
Frequent flyer mileage accrual is at the sole discretion of the airline(s). Aisle + Away Travel Co. makes no guarantees regarding mileage, upgrades, or loyalty benefits. Many fare classes do not permit accruals, redemptions, or upgrades, even when booking directly with the airline.
Seat assignments are not guaranteed, even after they are selected or confirmed. Most airlines charge additional fees to pre-book or select seats. Aisle + Away Travel Co. has no control over seating policies or assignments and is not responsible for any changes made by the airline.
Airline e-tickets generally expire one year from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified by the airline’s fare rules.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Amenities, room configurations, and services vary by hotel and are subject to change without notice. Room images may not reflect actual accommodations. Connecting rooms and bedding requests are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
Resort fees, energy surcharges, and incidental charges (e.g., phone calls, parking, mini-bar use) are not included in your reservation and must be paid directly to the hotel at check-in or checkout.
Bedding Configurations
“Bedding” refers to the specific bed setup offered by a hotel or resort, commonly known as the bedding configuration. This may include, but is not limited to, a king bed, two queen beds, a queen with a sofa bed, or two full beds. Terminology and setup vary by property.
While Aisle + Away Travel Co. will communicate your preferences to the hotel, bedding types are not guaranteed. All such requests are noted as preferences only, and the final assignment is determined by the hotel at the time of check-in, based on availability.
Aisle + Away Travel Co. is not liable if the hotel cannot fulfill a bedding request. By booking with us, you acknowledge that specific bedding arrangements are subject to availability and remain at the sole discretion of the hotel or resort.
RENTAL CARS
Each rental day equals a 24-hour period. Charges for overtime, gas, damage waivers, upgrades, underage drivers, and personal insurance are the renter’s responsibility and payable to the car rental company. Valid driver’s license and deposit required. Minimum age and surcharges vary by destination and car type.
PHYSICAL DISABILITIES
Travelers requiring special accommodations must inform us at booking. Accessibility standards vary by country and property. We will make requests to suppliers but cannot guarantee ADA-compliant facilities. Travelers are responsible for confirming adequacy of services offered.
TRAVELING WITH MARIJUANA, CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES OR E-CIGARETTES
Travelers are strictly prohibited from bringing marijuana, cannabis products, or any controlled substances while traveling, including on domestic flights — even if such substances are legal in the traveler's state of residence or destination.
Airports, airlines, and aircraft fall under federal jurisdiction, and it remains illegal to possess or transport marijuana or THC-based products under U.S. federal law, regardless of state law. International destinations may impose severe penalties — including arrest, fines, or imprisonment — for the possession, use, or transport of any cannabis-derived products, including CBD oil or edibles.
Additionally, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), vapes, and vape cartridges may be restricted or prohibited by airlines and in certain countries. Devices containing lithium batteries must typically be carried in carry-on luggage only, and some countries ban the import or use of vaping products altogether.
It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to verify and comply with TSA, airline, and destination country regulationsrelated to these products. Aisle + Away Travel Co. assumes no responsibility for fines, arrests, denied boarding, or other consequences arising from the possession or use of prohibited substances or devices during travel.
RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION & RIGHT TO TERMINATE
Aisle + Away Travel Co. is committed to providing exceptional service in a professional and respectful environment. We expect the same level of courtesy and respect from our clients in all forms of communication, including phone calls, emails, and written or verbal messages.
We reserve the right to terminate our relationship and cancel any active bookings or services without refund if a client engages in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, vulgar, or otherwise inappropriate behavior toward our team. This includes but is not limited to verbal harassment, profanity, personal attacks, or behavior that interferes with our ability to support you or other clients effectively.
By booking services through Aisle + Away Travel Co., you agree to maintain professional and courteous communication. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that this standard has not been met, we may withdraw from the engagement and cease further services.

We understand that travel experiences may vary and not all aspects of a trip are within our control. Dana Braun Travel, LLC d/b/a Aisle + Away Travel Co. acts solely as a travel advisor and booking agent. We are not the service provider, property manager, or on-site operator for any resort, airline, cruise line, or tour operator.
If you experience an issue during your trip, we encourage you to share your feedback directly with the travel Supplier or provider responsible for that service. Please do not leave public reviews regarding experiences that are not within the scope of our services (e.g., property cleanliness, hotel staff behavior, or on-site amenities) as these do not reflect the service provided by Aisle + Away Travel Co.
While we advocate for our clients when possible, we are not responsible for the performance or conduct of third-party Suppliers. We ask that any reviews of our services reflect only the planning, advisory, and booking experience we provided.
PANDEMICS & CRISIS
In the event of a pandemic, natural disaster, or emergency, suppliers may alter, delay, or cancel services at their sole discretion and without prior notice. Government entry requirements, health protocols, and testing mandates may change at any time.
We have no control over such decisions and are not liable for disruptions. It is your responsibility to comply with the current rules and requirements in your destination(s) during your travel dates.
