The cancellation policy depends on when you cancel and the length of your cruise. Cancellations within 30 days of sailing result in no refund regardless of cruise length. Non-refundable deposits are not returned at any point.
Cruise cancellation schedule
Bookings created on or after October 11, 2026 (note: since today is October 27, 2026, this applies to most current bookings):
1–4 nights5–9 nights10+ nights
Cruise length | No charge until | 50% charge | 75% charge | 100% charge |
75+ days out | 74–61 days | 60–31 days | 30 days or less | |
90+ days out | 89–61 days | 60–31 days | 30 days or less | |
120+ days out | 119–61 days | 60–31 days | 30 days or less |
Taxes, fees, and fuel supplement charges are refunded regardless of when you cancel. For bookings made outside the US and Canada, a different schedule may apply.
Shore excursions & flights
- Shore excursions can be modified or cancelled up to 48 hours before port arrival without penalty; tours involving flights, overnight stays, or Private Journeys require 30 days' notice.
- Flights by Royal cancellation penalties vary by ticket type and fare rules.
