Join me in exploring picturesque San Miguel de Allende! I worked closely with Vacationeeze and their local Mexican partners to curate this itinerary, offering a vibrant exploration of the region’s rich cultural, culinary, and natural heritage. This carefully crafted experience invites you to discover the heart and soul of central Mexico through hands-on adventures, exceptional cuisine, and unforgettable landscapes. Everything has been carefully planned for a completely seamless experience, with a nice balance of activity and free time to explore on your own.
Together, we'll ride through the scenic highlands on horseback, mix craft cocktails with a renowned local barista, and taste our way through the city on a walking food tour that reveals the rich flavors of this historic town. We'll also visit a boutique winery with a guided tasting menu that pairs local wines with elevated Mexican cuisine. For a touch of adventure, we will paddle out on a kayak to uncover the haunting beauty of a sunken church in ruins - a hidden historical gem.
The experience concludes with a farewell dinner at Fatima, one of San Miguel’s most celebrated rooftop restaurants and a night out on the town for drinks and live music.

Day 1: Arrival to San Miguel de Allende
Travelers can arrive to either Leon (BJX) or Querétaro (QRO) airports. A scenic 1.5 hour drive to San Miguel will be your first introduction to the landscapes of the central state of Guanajuato. Travelers may arrange their own transportation, or opt for a private round-trip transfer for an additional cost. Before your arrival, we will contact you to see if you'd like us to arrange a private transfer for you.
Costs for round-trip airport transfers from either BJX or QRO:

To cap off the day, indulge in a welcome dinner at Quince Rooftop - one of San Miguel de Allende’s most iconic dining spots. Day 2
Start your day with a journey through San Miguel de Allende’s countryside on a guided horseback ride from the city's very first equestrian center. This relaxed, scenic ride is perfect for all levels and offers - beginners are welcome! A peaceful way to connect with nature while experiencing the region’s landscapes and traditions from a unique perspective. With expert guides and well-trained horses, you’ll enjoy both safety and serenity as you ride through the highlands.
From the ranch to refined cocktails, your next stop is a masterful Mexican mixology session led by a renowned local mixologist named among North America’s top 50 bartenders. Dive into the world of agave spirits as you learn to craft mezcal and tequila-based drinks using traditional ingredients and techniques. In the late afternoon, get ready to taste your way through San Miguel on a guided walking food tour. Day 3

Day 4
Begin your final day with a scenic 90-minute drive to uncover one of Mexico’s most unique hidden gems: the sunken church of the Virgin of Los Dolores. On this kayak adventure, you'll paddle across calm waters to the ruins of this partially submerged church. With its mysterious beauty and rich history, this surreal landscape offers a peaceful yet awe-inspiring experience. Whether you’re new to kayaking or already comfortable on the water, it’s a truly unforgettable way to connect with nature and history. Bring your camera because this is a very unique experience that you’ll want to capture!
Back in San Miguel, the evening begins with a farewell dinner at Fátima 7 Rooftop, where sweeping views, refined ambiance, and a curated selection of shared appetizers and one signature cocktail set the tone for a memorable celebration. After your appetizer and cocktail (included), you may order according to your taste from their dinner menu (extra cost). This intimate gathering is a moment to reflect on the journey, enjoy the company of new friends, and toast to the beauty of San Miguel.
For those wanting to keep the night alive, explore the city's vibrant nightlife with our “Cheers to the Night!” self-guided outing. Whether you're drawn to a sleek rooftop bar like Luna, the DJ beats at Duke Nightclub, or the chic crowd at Sammy Social Room, San Miguel’s after-dark scene promises the perfect finale to your adventure.
Day 5
On your final day, after breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel and depart San Miguel de Allende according to your flight schedule. If needed, a private transfer can be arranged (the prices at the beginning of this itinerary are round trip) to ensure a seamless and comfortable journey to the airport.

*In case of overflow, additional guests may be accommodated in a similar nearby hotel, such as Maison Mexique.
Passenger Deposit, Cancellation, and Payment Schedule:- A non-refundable deposit of $100 USD per room is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This deposit will be applied toward the final balance of your trip. If the trip is cancelled, you can apply this deposit to any future itinerary with Vacationeeze.
