The Sacred Valley continues to captivate my heart with its beauty, history, and serene atmosphere, and Machu Picchu remains one of the most breathtaking sights I have ever encountered. Beyond the landscapes, it’s the warmth of the people and the incredible food that make Peru so special and unforgettable. Extending the journey into the Amazon offers a completely different yet equally awe-inspiring perspective of Peru, making this an extraordinary adventure from start to finish.

From the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu to the floating islands of Lake Titicaca, the magical wonders of Peru are waiting behind every corner. Take in Lima and see the historical side of the “City of Kings.” Explore Andean art forms and the local way of life during your stay in the Sacred Valley. Delight in a home-hosted farm-to-table lunch at a local Quechua community. At Machu Picchu, spend a night at the base of the “Lost City of the Incas” and enjoy a culinary demonstration.     Ascend to Machu Picchu in the early hours of the morning on your own. Be one of the first to enter the sanctuary just as the sun rises over the high mountains encircling it. Spend time exploring the grounds at your leisure or merely pick a spot to sit and enjoy the morning serenity of this magical place. This option needs to be purchased at least 30 days prior to tour departure and is non-refundable after purchase. Duration: Approximately 5 hours. Please note a minimum of 6 passengers is required. Transportation is included.

    Transfers are only included if international airfare is purchased with Collette. Cost estimate $75 per person each way if independent air is chosen.

    A deposit of $698 per person is due upon reservation. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Insurance is non-refundable.

    You don’t mind being on the go with some early starts, late nights, and full days. You can handle higher altitudes. This level is not appropriate for travelers who use wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility assistance devices.
