  • Why Travel During Ramadan?

Ramadan is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a time of reflection, generosity, and community. In Egypt, the days are peaceful and unhurried as many locals fast from sunrise to sunset, and the evenings burst into life with glowing fanoos lanterns, music, and joyful gatherings. As a visitor, you are not expected to fast, but you’ll be warmly welcomed to share in the traditions—especially the Iftar meal when the fast is broken at sunset, a moment filled with delicious food, laughter, and togetherness.

Traveling during Ramadan offers unique advantages: many major tourist sites are quieter in the mornings and afternoons, giving you space to explore Egypt’s most iconic monuments at a slower, more personal pace. In the evenings, you’ll witness the streets transform into a celebration—cafés buzzing late into the night, mosques beautifully lit, and a festive spirit that flows through every neighborhood. Experiencing Egypt during Ramadan means connecting with its living culture in a way few travelers ever do—where ancient wonders and vibrant modern traditions blend into an unforgettable journey.

  • Why Travel Protection Matters

Travel is full of excitement—but even the best-planned vacations can hit unexpected bumps. From flight delays and lost luggage to last-minute cancellations or medical emergencies, travel protection gives you peace of mind when it matters most.

Here’s what travel protection can help with:

    • Trip Cancellations or Interruptions Reimbursements if you need to cancel or cut your trip short due to covered reasons.
    • Emergency Medical Coverage Protection in case you get sick or injured while traveling—especially important abroad.
    • Baggage Delays or Loss Compensation for delayed, damaged, or lost luggage so you’re not left stranded.
    • Travel Delays Coverage for hotel stays, meals, and transportation when your plans are unexpectedly put on hold.
    • 24/7 Travel Assistance Access to a team that can help rebook flights, find doctors, or assist with travel hiccups anytime, anywhere.

Bottom line? Travel protection helps safeguard your investment—and your peace of mind—so you can focus on what really matters: enjoying your trip.

🛡️ Travel medical insurance is mandatory. With a wide variety of company, credit card and travel policies out there, how do you know if your coverage is sufficient for our style of adventure travel? Our minimum required insurance policy coverage for medical expenses, evacuation, and repatriation benefits when combined together is 200,000 USD per traveller (or equivalent in other currency). If your pre-existing coverage does not meet these needs, you will be required to purchase travel medical insurance.
