Overview

The West Highland Way is one of the world’s best walks; it’s a classic long distance walking tour, covering a distance of 154 km/96 miles from Milngavie on the outskirts of Glasgow to Fort William in the Highlands. The essence of walking in Scotland is captured in this iconic long-distance route, weaving together challenge, purpose, and camaraderie into a true celebration of the hiking experience.

Joining our West Highland Way guided walking holiday allows one to appreciate the stunning scenery fully, learn about the area’s history and legends, and identify the flora and fauna along the route. The trail travels along the ‘bonnie banks’ of Loch Lomond, across the atmospheric Rannoch Moor, past dramatic Glencoe, and over the high pass of the Devil’s Staircase, before finishing in Fort William, at the foot of Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.

Baggage transfer is included, so our luggage will be waiting at our accommodation each evening, letting us travel light. This seven-day itinerary allows us to fully enjoy the spectacular scenery of one of the world’s greatest long-distance treks at a relaxed pace with expert guides to assist us along the way. The groups is capped at 16.
