Italy Pilgrimage with Father Chris - May 2026

What is included?

All transportation needs during the tour provided by a deluxe air conditioned motorcoach, 10 night hotel stay in first class hotels, 2 meals a day, hotel gratuities, international airfare, tour guide and driver for the entire trip, and all entrance and admission fees for the listed sites.

How do I sign up? 

You can fill out the online registration form or it is also perfectly fine for you to simply send me an email - tell me your full name (as it matches your passport) and date of birth. Also include info for your roommate, if known. If you want to go on the trip, but are not sure about a roommate, you are welcome to still sign up. I can help match you with a roommate if desired, or you can opt to pay the single supplement fee of $998 to have a single room.  $300 per person deposit is due to officially confirm your spot on the trip. You will not need to pay insurance premium (if choosing to add) until final payment date which will be February 1, 2026. 
 

Why does it say starts at $6,896? 

$6,896 per person is the cost for the package with economy airfare with a minimum of 25 travelers. If we get less than that number, the cost per person may increase. A price increase from the amounts listed in brochure is not likely to happen and will be avoided unless absolutely necessary. It's also possible for individuals to elect to upgrade airfare seats or modify the trip itinerary by extending their stay. If you wish to do that, communicate this to Heather Koors and I will help you set this up. 

Do I have to fly out of Cincinnati? 

No, you do not have to. We can offer other airports for departure & will try to connect you to the same international flight as the rest of the group - this is not guaranteed though. Father Chris & majority of the group will be flying out of Cincinnati. If you want to guarantee you will be traveling with them, I would recommend doing the group airfare from Cincinnati. 

I have airline points I want to use for my flight. Can I do that? 

Yes, but you will not be able to in the group airfare block. You would have to sign up for a Land Only package priced at $4,698 per person. We will not have confirmed flight itineraries until at minimum 60 days prior to travel, so you will not know what flights the group is on or even the airline being used until after this date. 

Can I pick my seats on the flight? 

Not usually with group airfare. They often do assign people with the same last name in a group together, but this is not always the case and often depends on how full the flight is when confirming the group. I do the best I can to make requests to get people close together, but ultimately have little control over what the airline does - the only way to guarantee that you are sitting where you want to would be to do the upgraded seats the airline is offering. Ask me about this if you want to do this. 

Should I get travel insurance? 

Travel insurance will help protect you and your money you invest in this trip in the event that something unexpected happens before or during your trip. Your comfort level with the risk of not having travel insurance is 100% up to you! 

A couple things to keep in mind in making your decision on this: 

1) Often times US health insurance policies do not cover treatment needed in a different country. You would need to verify if this is true or not for you and your insurance plan. 

2) Familiarize yourself with the tour operator's Cancellation Policy. I am not employed by ETS - they are just a supplier I work with. I will always advocate for my clients whenever an issue arises, but I cannot guarantee reimbursement for any funds paid that the tour operator will not reimburse. 

1. Cancellation Policy specific to this trip: CANCELLATION FEES: 100% of Cancellation Fees are covered by the optional Travel Protection Program, provided the premium has been paid and the reason for cancellation is coverable. Those who do not take travel protection should be aware of the following per-person cancellation penalties: From the day of registration to 105 days prior to departure, you will be charged the $100 non-refundable cancellation fee plus any airline and land fees. Additionally, thereafter, you will be charged any airline penalties, land penalties, and a single room supplement if your cancellation forces your roommate into a single plus the following per-person charges: 104-60 days = $400; 59-45 days = $600; 44-31 days = 40% of total cost; 30 days to the day of departure = 100% of the total cost.  Submit cancellation in writing. On or after the day of departure, there will be no refund for any services not used. 

How much is travel insurance? This will vary based on the final per person cost, but this would be the price based on basic trip cost without any upgrade or modifications. There is a detailed sliding scale of cost to insurance in the brochure. Insurance premium payment is due by the final payment date of February 1, 2026; however, I do need to know during trip registration if you plan to purchase a policy with your ETS trip package or not.
