From dramatic black-sand beaches and roaring waterfalls to volcanic craters and geothermal hot springs, this journey offers the perfect balance of jaw-dropping adventure and relaxation.

• The Dramatic South & East Coasts: Walk along the famous Reynisfjara Black Beach, hike through the lush Skaftafell National Park, and watch icebergs glisten at the Diamond Beach.
• Volcanic Wonders & Canyons: Peer into the magical blue waters of the Kerid Crater Lake, explore the basalt columns of Studlagil Canyon, and walk the rim of the ancient Grábrók Volcano.
• The Famous Golden Circle: Experience the roaring Gullfoss waterfall, witness the explosive Strokkur geyser, and stand between two continents at Thingvellir National Park.
• Charming Towns & Wildlife: Visit Akureyri (the capital of the North), explore historic 18th-century fishing villages, and spot seals lounging on the northern coast.

Day 1: Waterfalls & Black Sand Beaches Kick off the adventure exploring Iceland’s south coast. Marvel at the stunning Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, walk the dramatic black sands of Reynisfjara, and end the day hiking in Skaftafell National Park.

Day 2: Glaciers, Fjords, & Hidden Canyons Witness the breathtaking Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. Travel along the jagged east coast fjords, visit the historic fishing village of Djupivogur, and view the towering basalt columns of Studlagil Canyon.

• Optional Add-ons: Amphibian Boat Tour, Blue Ice Cave Exploration, or a soak in the Vök Geothermal Floating Pools.

Day 3: The Volcanic Heart of Lake Mývatn Journey into the remote North to explore Lake Mývatn, a surreal geothermal landscape formed by ancient eruptions. Feel the mist of Dettifoss (Europe’s most powerful waterfall) and visit the mystical "Waterfall of the Gods," Goðafoss.

Day 4: Capital of the North & Coastal Wildlife Discover Akureyri, a vibrant city nestled in a deep fjord. Travel the scenic northern coastline to Dalvík, photograph the unique Hvítserkur rock formation, and visit the Seal Center in Hvammstangi.

Day 5: Lava Fields & Historic Springs Explore the Borgarfjörður region, home to the unique Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls flowing straight out of a lava field. Climb the wooden stairs to the top of Grábrók Crater and witness Deildartunguhver, Europe’s highest-flow hot spring.

Day 6: The Legendary Golden Circle Cap off the alumni trip with Iceland's most iconic sights. Walk the tectonic rift between America and Europe at Thingvellir National Park, watch the Strokkur geyser erupt, marvel at the Golden Waterfall, and visit the stunning Kerid Crater Lake before arriving back in Reykjavík.

• Lodging: Accommodations curated for the group for all 6 nights, with daily breakfast
