Experience Alaska with Princess Cruises
Few cruise lines have a history with Alaska quite like Princess Cruises. By the 2027 season, Princess will have nearly 60 years of experience sailing Alaska, with itineraries specifically designed around the glaciers, wildlife, historic communities and incredible scenery that make the Great Land such a special cruise destination.
That experience is one of the primary reasons we like Princess for Alaska. Their North to Alaska program brings the destination onboard through local culture, regional food, Alaska personalities, educational programming and enhanced glacier-viewing experiences. And on this itinerary, one of the biggest highlights is an entire day dedicated to scenic cruising through Glacier Bay National Park, one of Alaska's most spectacular protected wilderness areas.

About The Royal Princess
Royal Princess is a beautiful Royal-class ship designed to combine traditional Princess cruising with expansive public spaces, entertainment, dining and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery.
At approximately 142,000 gross tons, Royal Princess accommodates about 3,560 guests and features 19 decks. At the center of the ship is the multi-level Piazza, surrounded by restaurants, lounges and entertainment venues. Guests can also enjoy specialty dining, multiple bars and lounges, pools, the Lotus Spa, live entertainment and Princess favorites such as Movies Under the Stars®.
For Alaska, Royal Princess provides a great balance: she is large enough to offer plenty to do during sea days while still providing numerous indoor and outdoor spaces for taking in Alaska's mountains, waterways, glaciers and wildlife.
Your 7-Night Alaska Itinerary
Day 1 — Seattle, Washington
Your Alaska adventure begins in Seattle. Board Royal Princess, settle into your Balcony stateroom and begin your journey north through the Pacific Northwest toward Alaska.

Day 2 — At Sea
Your first full day is an opportunity to explore Royal Princess and settle into vacation mode. Enjoy the ship's dining, entertainment and amenities while watching the scenery change as you make your way north toward Alaska.
Day 3 — Juneau, Alaska
Alaska's capital combines mountains, glaciers and wildlife with plenty of opportunities for adventure. One of the area's biggest attractions is Mendenhall Glacier, but Juneau is also one of our favorite destinations for whale watching. Other possibilities include the Goldbelt Tram, helicopter and glacier experiences, dog sledding adventures and exploring downtown Juneau.

Day 4 — Skagway, Alaska
Step into Alaska's Gold Rush history in the small town of Skagway. The community played an important role during the Klondike Gold Rush, and much of its historic character remains today.
One of the signature experiences is the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, which climbs from Skagway into the mountains along the route followed by prospectors more than a century ago. Guests can also explore the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park or head into the surrounding wilderness.

Day 5 — Glacier Bay National Park
This is one of the defining experiences of the entire cruise.
Rather than a traditional port day, Royal Princess spends the day cruising through the protected wilderness of Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with tidewater glaciers, snow-covered mountains and abundant wildlife.
On select Princess Glacier Bay sailings, National Park Rangers come aboard to provide commentary and help guests understand the landscape, wildlife and glaciers surrounding the ship.
This is also where having your own private balcony becomes especially valuable. You can step outside throughout the day as the scenery unfolds around the ship without ever leaving your stateroom.

Day 6 — Ketchikan, Alaska
Known as the “Salmon Capital of the World,” Ketchikan combines Alaska Native culture, colorful waterfront scenery and the immense Tongass National Forest.
Explore historic Creek Street, learn about the region's impressive collection of Native totem poles, search for wildlife, experience a salmon fishing adventure or take to the air or water to see the dramatic wilderness surrounding the community.

Day 7 — Victoria, British Columbia
Your final port brings you to beautiful Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. Known for its picturesque Inner Harbour, historic architecture and gardens, Victoria provides a distinctly different experience from the Alaska ports visited earlier in the week.
Popular experiences include Butchart Gardens, exploring the Inner Harbour and simply enjoying an evening walk through this charming Canadian city.

Day 8 — Seattle, Washington
Royal Princess returns to Seattle, completing your seven-night journey through Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.
Your Reserved Balcony Stateroom
For an Alaska cruise, we strongly prefer having a balcony whenever the budget allows. Alaska is one destination where the scenery isn't limited to the ports. Mountains, islands, wildlife and waterways can appear outside your window throughout the voyage, and Glacier Bay makes having your own private outdoor viewing space particularly worthwhile.
Your Balcony Stateroom is approximately 222 square feet including an approximately 41-square-foot private balcony.
Standard features include:
- Private balcony with outdoor seating
- Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors
- Two twin beds that convert to a queen configuration
- Private bathroom with shower
- Refrigerator
- Flat-panel television
- Spacious closet and storage
- Desk and chair
- In-room digital safe
- Hair dryer and standard stateroom amenities
- Princess' comfortable bedding and high-thread-count linens
The balcony itself becomes part of the Alaska experience. Start the morning with coffee while watching the coastline pass, step outside when wildlife is spotted, or enjoy Glacier Bay from the privacy of your own stateroom.

Only 4 Group Staterooms Available
We currently have just 4 Balcony Staterooms available at our group rate.
$6,488 Total Per Stateroom
Based on two guests sharing the stateroom
And importantly, this rate already includes the Princess Plus® package for both guests.
Princess Plus® Is Included
Princess Plus adds many of the extras guests typically purchase during a cruise into the vacation package ahead of time. Princess currently estimates that Plus can provide approximately 50% savings compared with purchasing its included components separately.
For this seven-night sailing, both guests in the stateroom receive Princess Plus, which currently includes:
Princess Plus Beverage Package
Enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages valued at up to $15 each, with up to 15 alcoholic beverages per day. The package also covers options such as specialty coffees and bottled water.
MedallionNet Max Wi-Fi
Each guest receives Wi-Fi access for one device at a time, making it easy to stay connected, share photos and keep in touch while traveling.
Crew Appreciation Included (Pre-Paid Gratuities)
Your daily crew appreciation, commonly referred to as onboard gratuities, is already included with Princess Plus.
4 Casual Dining Meals Per Guest
Each guest receives four included casual dining meals during the voyage, providing additional dining choices beyond the complimentary main dining rooms and buffet.
OceanNow® Delivery Included
Use the Princess app to order food, drinks and other available items for delivery around the ship without the standard OceanNow activation fee.
Unlimited Room Service Delivery
Room service delivery fees are also waived for Princess Plus guests throughout the voyage.
For a seven-night cruise, that means many of the expenses that can otherwise add up onboard are already built into the $6,488 group price for two guests.
Complete Your Alaska Vacation
Now that we are within the booking window for July 2027 travel, we can help turn the cruise itself into a complete Alaska vacation.
In addition to your cruise reservation, we can price and arrange:
Roundtrip Flights to Seattle
We can review available flight schedules and help determine the best options for your travel plans.
Pre-Cruise Seattle Hotel
For Alaska cruises, we recommend arriving in Seattle at least one day before sailing. We can add a pre-cruise hotel stay so you can arrive, relax and begin your vacation without the stress of same-day air travel.
Airport, Hotel & Cruise Transfers
Transfers can be arranged based on your individual flight and pre-cruise hotel plans.
Travel Protection Insurance
We can also provide a travel protection quote based on your total trip cost and individual needs. Travel protection is priced separately and is not included in the $6,488 cruise package.
Flights, hotels, transfers and travel protection are not included in the advertised group cruise rate and will be priced individually based on each couple's travel plans and preferences.
Ready to Experience Alaska?
Alaska is one of those destinations that is difficult to fully appreciate until you see it for yourself. On this itinerary, you'll experience historic Gold Rush towns, wildlife-rich waterways, towering mountains and an entire day surrounded by the protected wilderness and glaciers of Glacier Bay National Park.
With only 4 Balcony Staterooms available at our $6,488 group rate for two guests, including Princess Plus, availability is limited.
