Scotland Literary Retreat | April 2026
Apr 18 - 25, 2026
🕯️ Your Invitation
Once upon a time, there was a quiet girl with a head full of stories and a heart that longed for places she’d only read about.
That girl was me. And maybe, in some way, she’s you too.
This isn’t just a tour. It’s a love letter to the readers who dream in chapters. A gathering of women who’d rather wander ruins than rush through checklists. A journey into the land of legends—where standing stones hum with mystery, castles whisper old stories, and the Highlands feel like something pulled from the pages of a novel.
If Scotland has been calling to you... this is your sign to answer.

đź“– Your Literary Itinerary
Each day is a chapter. Each moment, a line worth underlining.
✧ Prologue – Arrival Day (April 18)
Mood: Tingling anticipation wrapped in quiet courage You’re not just taking a trip—you’re answering a call. Pack your softest scarf, your favorite book, and your quiet bravery. Scotland is waiting.
✧ Chapter One – The Story Begins in Stone (April 19)
Mood: Wide-eyed wonder meets soft jet lag You’ll land in Edinburgh and settle in, then follow the cobbled paths of writers past. Visit Edinburgh Castle, wander Old Town with a local guide, and trace the steps of J.K. Rowling and Robert Louis Stevenson. In the evening, we gather for a welcome dinner—strangers now, kindred spirits soon.
✧ Chapter Two – Witches, Time Travel & Stone Walls (April 20)
Mood: Cinematic and charged with myth It’s an Outlander dream day: Culross (aka Cranesmuir), Doune Castle (Castle Leoch), Linlithgow Palace, and Blackness Castle. You’ll feel time folding in on itself—and if you listen closely, you may hear Claire’s footsteps echoing in the stones.
✧ Chapter Three – Northward, Toward Myth (April 21)
Mood: Restful, rugged, and reflective We head into the Highlands. After scenic stops and a soul-nourishing lunch, we arrive in Inverness. A private walking tour and kilt-making demonstration await. By nightfall, something in you will feel different—deeper.
✧ Chapter Four – Ghosts and Standing Stones (April 22)
Mood: Reverent, windswept, soul-stirring Today we walk the sacred grounds of Culloden Battlefield, then visit the ancient stone circle of Clava Cairns—Outlander's Craigh na Dun inspiration. We end the day in Fort William, heart full.
✧ Chapter Five – Steam and Spellwork (April 23)
Mood: Pure, unfiltered joy Board the Jacobite Steam Train, aka the real-life Hogwarts Express. Glide over the Glenfinnan Viaduct and through cinematic Highland views. Return to Fort William with magic in your bones.
✧ Chapter Six – Cloisters and Closures (April 24)
Mood: Bittersweet + full-circle As we journey back to Edinburgh, we stop in Glasgow to wander the gothic cloisters of the University—magical in their own right. Our final night ends with a farewell dinner and soft goodbyes. This isn’t the end. It’s a comma in the sentence of your story.
✧ Epilogue – Departure Day (April 25)
Mood: Quiet magic and open endings You leave not empty-handed, but full-hearted. With a journal of memories, a few new friends, and the kind of perspective only travel can write into you.
