Rome Before the Cruise • September 30–October 3, 2027

$1,982 per person, double occupancy | $2,586 per person, single occupancy

Three nights at a proposed three-star Rome hotel in a standard room, breakfast each morning, three group dinners, private airport-to-hotel and hotel-to-Civitavecchia transfers, transportation for scheduled tours and dinners, and hotel porterage as listed. Sightseeing includes a private Vatican touring day and a half-day Rome city tour with planned Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, Colosseum and Roman Forum admissions. Admission availability and booking windows apply; entries are not guaranteed.

Why it is good value: Your stay brings hotels, private group sightseeing, planned admissions, dinners and transportation into one coordinated package, giving you more time to enjoy Rome with the group.

Athens After the Cruise • October 10–12, 2027

$1,388 per person, double occupancy | $1,808 per person, single occupancy

Two nights at a proposed four-star hotel such as The Stanley or similar, standard room, breakfast each morning, private port-to-hotel and hotel-to-airport transfers, and hotel porterage as listed. Includes a private full-day Athens tour with the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum, plus a Greek taverna evening with dinner, live music and folklore dancing. Two group dinners and their scheduled transportation are included.

Why it is good value: Settle into Athens after the cruise with transfers already arranged, a guided day at its signature sights, and a shared evening of Greek food and entertainment.

Enjoy Both Cities

Estimated total: $3,370 per person, double occupancy | $4,394 per person, single occupancy. This is the sum of the two October 27 city quotes at the 15–19-traveler tier, subject to confirmation; it replaces the older combined planning estimate. Enjoy five hotel nights, daily hotel breakfast, five group dinners, and the listed tours and transfers across both stays.

Hotels are proposed and subject to availability. Pricing depends on the number of paying travelers participating in each city and may change. Lunches, travel protection, gratuities, personal expenses, airfare, cruise fare, and required travel documents or authorizations are additional. Ask Jenn about joining either city option and the applicable group requirements before booking.

Chicago (ORD) to Rome (FCO) and Athens (ATH) to Chicago (ORD)

Estimated airfare includes anticipated taxes and fees. Baggage, seat selection, and fare restrictions vary by airline. Premium Economy refers to a separate premium cabin, not extra-legroom Economy seating. Business Class pricing assumes lie-flat seating on the transatlantic portions.

Flights for September 29–October 12, 2027, should become available beginning in November 2026. Prices are estimates for planning purposes and may change based on airline, routing, and availability. Current averages place Premium Economy to Rome around $1,936 and Business Class around $4,512, with nonstop Chicago premium-cabin fares sometimes considerably higher.

20–24 paying travelers: Rome $1,904 / $2,508; Athens $1,282 / $1,701. Both stays, calculated sum: $3,186 / $4,209.

25–29 paying travelers: Rome $1,785 / $2,389; Athens $1,221 / $1,640. Both stays, calculated sum: $3,006 / $4,029.

Land and Air Payment Schedule

Initial deposit: $500 per person

This reserves your place in the group and provides funds toward the land package and the airfare deposit once group flights become available.

Additional land payment: $300 per person in May 2027

Final land payment due: July 14, 2027

Airfare pricing and its final payment schedule will be provided once flights become available. Any remaining portion of the initial deposit will be applied toward the land package.

Important Details

Pricing is an estimate and is subject to availability, final group size, exchange-rate provisions, and applicable tax or fee changes. Proposed hotels are not yet confirmed. Travel protection, gratuities, lunches, personal expenses, and required travel documents or authorizations are not included.

Ground transportation includes one standard-size suitcase and one small carry-on per person. Additional or oversized luggage must be arranged in advance and may result in additional charges.

Travel protection through Allianz is optional but highly recommended. Depending on the plan selected, coverage may help with unexpected trip cancellations or interruptions, medical emergencies, travel delays, and lost or delayed baggage.

The cost is based on factors such as your age, state of residence, and total trip cost. Coverage is subject to the plan’s terms, conditions, and exclusions, and some benefits may require purchase within a specific timeframe. We will provide a personalized quote before you decide.
