Exploring Iberia: Southern Spain to Coastal Portugal

Feb 21 - Mar 5, 2027

About This Trip

Thirteen days. Two countries. One of Europe's most rewarding itineraries — and I'll be with you every step of the way.

Southern Spain and Portugal in late February is a traveler's secret. The crowds that descend on the Alhambra and Seville in summer are gone. The temperatures are ideal for the walking this trip demands. And the light in Andalusia at that time of year is something you just don't get in peak season.

This is a Collette-operated tour, which means world-class logistics, vetted hotels, and included experiences. What it doesn't include is someone in your group who knows the itinerary cold, has your back when something goes sideways, and makes sure the 24 people around you are worth spending 13 days with.

That's where I come in.

Exploring Iberia: Southern Spain to Coastal Portugal
  • WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE A HOSTED TRIP

Most group tours put you on a bus with strangers and hand you off to a tour director you've never met. This isn't that.

I'm Jarrett Corr, and I'll be on this trip with you — not as a tour director, but as your travel advisor, your point of contact, and frankly, a fellow traveler who loves this part of the world. Here's what that actually looks like:

Before you leave: I handle the details, answer your questions, and make sure you know exactly what to expect — including the stuff Collette's brochure doesn't tell you.

On the ground: I'm there at every meal, every included experience, and every moment where having someone who knows the itinerary makes a difference. If something needs to be sorted, I sort it. You don't have to find a 1-800 number.

The group itself: I curate who travels with us. The people in this group are PebbleCreek neighbors and past clients — curious, easy-going, and genuinely good company. No strangers off the internet. No drama.

This is the difference between booking a tour and joining a trip.

  • WHO IS JARRETT CORR?

I'm Jarrett Corr, owner of Glitter Globe Getaways and a travel advisor who actually travels. My husband and I will both be on this trip — Spain and Portugal are two of our favorite places in Europe, and I've been looking for the right group to go back with.

What pulls me back every time is the combination of things you can't fake: food that's deeply regional, wine that doesn't travel well because nobody exports the good stuff, and a layer of history and culture that rewards people who actually want to slow down and pay attention. A warm pastel de nata straight from a Lisbon bakery. Tapas the way they're meant to be eaten — slowly, over conversation, with no rush to turn the table. The Alhambra, which sounds like a cliché until you're standing inside it.

This itinerary covers all of it, and I'll be there for every bite.

I specialize in small group travel for people who want the experience handled at a high level and the company to match. If you have questions, reach out directly — I'm a real person and I answer.

  • ACTIVITY LEVEL

    Activity Level 3 - Active

You don’t want to miss a thing, so walking and standing for longer periods of time (2-3 hours) isn’t a big deal. A moderately paced two-and-a-half-hour walking tour, covering several miles, hills, and uneven surfaces, is no problem for you. Walking four miles over the course of a day is very doable, as is climbing into and out of various modes of transportation (tuk-tuk, cable car, zodiac, etc.). You can climb three flights of stairs easily and handle altitudes between 6,000 and 9,000 feet. Expect some longer days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. This level is not a fit for travelers who require mobility assistance devices.

  • IMPORTANT TOUR INFORMATION:

Book Now rates valid until Jul 22, 2026, valid on air inclusive packages only.
