Pack your Card, We're Going to Bermuda | Mahj at Sea 2026
Oct 18 - 25, 2026
Tiles, Bermuda, and the trip you didn't know you needed. Welcome to Mahjong at Sea.

Adventures by Brianna, part of C Pinnacle Travel, is partnering with The Mahjmont Society to bring you something we think is pretty special — a mahjong tournament cruise.
In October 2026 we set sail from Boston headed to Bermuda, with tournament rounds and open play woven throughout the voyage. This is a friendly, low-pressure event — think great people, good competition, and plenty of room for fun in between.
The Mahjmont Society is the Massachusetts-based duo behind some of the most intentional mahjong gatherings around. Whether you've been playing for years or just got your first card, this is a community worth being part of.
Adventures by Brianna, also based in Massachusetts, is handling all the travel logistics, which means one point of contact for your cabin booking, any questions that come up along the way, and the kind of thoughtful coordination that makes travel feel easy instead of chaotic.
Bermuda in late October is genuinely one of the nicer times to visit. The summer crowds have thinned out, temperatures are still warm and comfortable, and the island has a relaxed, unhurried feel that's hard to find in peak season. Think pink sand beaches, Royal Naval Dockyard, and a rum swizzle or two between rounds.

FAQs
What is the Mahjong at Sea?
It's a group cruise sailing round-trip from Boston to Bermuda, with an organized mahjong tournament and open play built into the itinerary. Adventures by Brianna and The Mahjmont Society have partnered to put this together — we're handling the travel, they're running the mahjong programming, and together we're making sure the whole thing is a great time.
Who can come?
This trip is open to anyone who wants to join — you don't have to be part of a group or know someone already going. If you love mahjong, love to travel, or just love the idea of both at once, you're in the right place.
What level player do I need to be?
The Mahjmont Society has designed this event to be welcoming at every level. If you're newer to the game, we just ask that you come with a general familiarity with how play works so everyone can keep the rounds moving. Not sure if you're ready? Brush up before you sail and you'll be just fine.
Can I book the cruise on my own?
This is an exclusive group event, which means participation in the mahjong programming is tied to booking your cabin through Adventures by Brianna as part of our group block. Cabins booked independently through Norwegian won't have access to the tournament or any of the group events. The good news is that booking through us is straightforward, and you'll have a dedicated point of contact for everything from the moment you sign up.
Can I bring someone who doesn't play mahjong?
Absolutely. Non-players are more than welcome on this trip. The cruise itself is open to everyone in your cabin, and they'll be able to join in on the social events we have planned along the way. The mahjong-specific programming — tournament rounds and organized play sessions — does require a separate mahjong participation fee, and we do need to know ahead of time who is playing so we can plan accordingly. Just let us know on your interest list form and we'll make sure everyone is set up correctly from the start.
What if I don't know anyone going?
That's actually one of the best reasons to come. Group cruises like this one have a way of turning strangers into friends fast, especially when you're all sitting around the same table. The Mahjmont Society is great at creating an environment where everyone feels welcome from day one.
Do I have to share a room?
No. You can book a cabin for yourself or with whoever you're traveling with. If you're traveling solo and would like to connect with a potential roommate to share costs, let us know on your interest list form and we'll do our best to help facilitate that.
Do I need a passport?
We always recommend traveling with a valid passport — it's the easiest and most reliable form of identification for international travel and gives you the most flexibility if anything unexpected comes up. That said, because this is a closed-loop cruise (meaning it departs and returns to the same U.S. port), U.S. citizens can travel with a government-issued photo ID and an original or certified copy of their birth certificate. Whatever you decide, make sure your documents are current and ready to go well before sailing day.
