💰 A Note on Pricing: You may notice the pricing is higher than in past years, and we want to be upfront about why. Previous trips flew out of Milwaukee on charter flights, which came with extra costs that aren't always obvious at first glance — a round-trip bus to Milwaukee and a hotel stay the night before departure. This year, we're flying out of Appleton, which means no bus, no Milwaukee hotel, and no extra logistics to coordinate. Once you factor in those extra costs, the price difference is smaller than you'd think.

✈️ A Note on Flights: Because we're flying out of Appleton this year, air is optional rather than automatically included in your package. If you'd like to fly with the group, be sure to select the optional air add-on ($865.00 per person) when completing your booking. If it isn't selected, no flights will be included, and you'll be responsible for arranging your own travel to the Hyatt Vivid in Punta Cana — so please double-check this step before you submit!

Travel protection is optional. We're not going to pretend otherwise. But here's the honest version: things happen. A family member gets sick. Your flight is canceled due to weather. You twist an ankle on the beach and need to see a doctor. Without coverage, those situations come entirely out of your pocket.

A good travel protection plan typically covers:

• Trip cancellation and interruption -- If you have to cancel or cut your trip short for a covered reason, you're reimbursed for non-refundable costs.
• Medical expenses -- Your domestic health insurance often provides little to no coverage outside the United States. A travel plan fills that gap.
• Emergency evacuation -- If you need to be transported for a medical emergency, this can run into the tens of thousands of dollars without coverage.
• Baggage loss or delay -- Coverage for lost luggage or emergency purchases if your bags don't arrive when you do.

3. Dining that changes the all-inclusive conversation. Five specialty à la carte restaurants with no reservations required, plus a global food hall, beach grill, speakeasy jazz club, and more. The days of "we already ate here last night" are behind us.

4. El Huerto Eco Garden. This experience is unlike anything else at a Punta Cana resort. You learn about native Dominican plants and herbs in the on-site sustainability garden, then sit down to a hand-to-table meal made from what you just harvested. It's one of those things that actually stays with you.

5. The speakeasy jazz club. Intimate. Vintage. Handcrafted cocktails. Live jazz energy. It's the kind of after-dinner spot that turns a good trip into a great story. This alone sets Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana apart from every other all-inclusive in the market.
