Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Can I use my Professional Development funds? Yes! You have a total of $1800 in professional development & tuition reimbursement funds for this calendar year thanks to RNPA’s hard work. This means you can request up to $1800 reimbursement for this event! You will receive a certificate of completion after completing the course.
Can I bring my spouse or friend who is not an RNPA member? Absolutely! If your guest is an RN in another hospital they might also have Professional Development funds to use.
Can there be 3 or 4 people in 1 room? Yes! Do note that a King or 2 double bed requests are accommodated based on availability and are NOT guaranteed.
Is travel insurance offered? Yes, we work with Allianz. Depending on the number of people, age, and total days of stay - Allianz will generate a quote specifically for you and your room guest.
Who is the Guest Speaker? Theresa Sanderson, RN CCM - Founder of Nurses Feed Their Young. An Accredited Provider of Nursing Continuing Professional Development.
How long will the CE course be? The CE course will be 4 hours long and held on Thursday March 13, 2025. You MUST attend the entire course to be given a CE course completion certificate. The course will be held at Leblanc Resort in one of their conference rooms.
I would like to attend the conference but prefer to handle my own accommodations in another resort. Is it possible to attend the CE conference? Unfortunately, no. Leblanc Resort will not allow non-guests to attend.
