Iceland is one of those places that genuinely lives up to the pictures, and June is one of the best times to see it. Long days, green valleys, and landmarks that feel almost too dramatic to be real.
This 8-day escorted tour departs June 6 and returns June 13, 2027, round trip from Reykjavik. Over the course of the week, the group travels the entire ring of the island, stopping at Gullfoss and Dettifoss waterfalls, the geysers and rift valley at Thingvellir National Park, the volcanic landscapes of Lake Mývatn, and the stunning glacier lagoon at Jökulsárlón. There's a whale-watching cruise from the small harbor town of Hauganes, a scenic drive through Skaftafell National Park, and time at the iconic Blue Lagoon before departure.
A welcome dinner greets the group on arrival night, and a farewell dinner in Reykjavik closes out the tour. Accommodations are at hotels in Reykjavik, Borgarnes, Akureyri, Egilsstadir, the Höfn area, and the Vik area.
This is a fully escorted Globus tour, so the logistics are handled from start to finish. Your job is simply to show up and take it all in.
