Italy with Elizabeth Rhodes
Oct 24 - 31, 2027
October 24-31, Artist Retreat in Italy with Elizabeth Rhodes
Join Elizabeth Rhodes for an inspiring week in Italy where art, craftsmanship, food, wine, and the beauty of the Italian landscape come together.
Your journey begins on the island of Murano, where you'll settle into the elegant NH Collection Venezia Murano Villa and immerse yourself in the centuries-old tradition of Venetian glassmaking. A private glass-blowing workshop offers the opportunity to experience this remarkable craft firsthand, followed by time exploring Venice and its extraordinary artistic and architectural treasures.
From Murano, you'll travel to Ravenna where you will will enjoy a walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage sites that contain some of the world's oldest mosaics.
After your time in Ravenna, you will travel into the Tuscan countryside and make Fattoria Torre a Cona, your home for four nights. Set among vineyards and rolling Tuscan hills, this beautiful estate gives you the opportunity to slow down and enjoy the setting while continuing your creative exploration. You'll experience the estate’s wine traditions, spend a day discovering Florence and its masterpieces, and have dedicated time to create, relax, and enjoy the property at our own pace.
The experience continues with a full day exploring Siena and San Gimignano, including a traditional Tuscan lunch and wine tasting, before returning to the estate for your final evening in the countryside.
Throughout the week, the itinerary intentionally balances inspiration and exploration with time to create with Elizabeth as your leader. There will be opportunities to learn from Italian artisans, experience the region’s artistic heritage, enjoy exceptional food and wine, and simply take in the beauty of Italy around us.
This is more than a sightseeing trip. It is an opportunity to slow down, look closely, make something with your hands, and experience Italy through the eyes of artists and travelers.

Why Travel Protection?
%20(1).png)
- Your plans can change. Illness, injury, family emergencies, or other unexpected events can force you to cancel or interrupt a trip.
- Travel protection can help protect your investment. Depending on the plan and reason for cancellation, you may be reimbursed for eligible prepaid, non-refundable trip expenses.
- Medical coverage matters when you travel. Your regular health insurance may have limited coverage outside the U.S. or internationally, while travel protection can provide coverage for eligible medical expenses.
- Things can happen while you’re away. Travel protection may help with trip interruption, delays, missed connections, baggage issues, and other covered travel disruptions.
- Emergency assistance is valuable. Many plans include 24/7 assistance services to help coordinate care and navigate unexpected situations while traveling.
- It’s about protecting more than your money. When you’ve invested time, money, and months of planning into a trip, travel protection can provide an extra layer of support when the unexpected happens.
