The Female Heart: A Cardiometabolic & Hormonal Framework for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Across a Woman's Lifespan

    Description

Cardiovascular disease is the leading killer of women, yet nearly half of first cardiac events

occur in patients labeled "low risk" and women are disproportionately among them. Standard

panels miss the insulin the A1C didn't catch, the ApoB the lipid panel glossed over, and the

hormonal inflection points PMOS (PCOS), the menopause transition, chronic HPA-axis

activation that quietly reshape a woman's cardiometabolic trajectory decades before diagnosis.

This 7-hour intensive gives nurses, pharmacists, physicians, and PAs a unified, systems-based

framework connecting metabolic, vascular, and hormonal drivers of cardiovascular risk in

women. You'll learn to read discordant labs, use continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) as a

personalization tool, integrate pharmacology, BHRT, and lifestyle strategically, and in a full two

hours of interactive case work build longitudinal, personalized care plans you can apply to your

    next female patient.
