Seward to Vancouver: An Alaska Adventure

May 14 - 21, 2027

Experience Alaska the way it was meant to be seen — surrounded by towering glaciers, incredible wildlife, charming coastal towns, and some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world aboard Celebrity Solstice.

This 7-night southbound Alaska cruise sails from Seward to Vancouver and visits Hubbard Glacier, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Icy Strait Point, along with scenic cruising through the beautiful Inside Passage. From glacier viewing and whale watching to historic gold rush towns and unforgettable wildlife encounters, this itinerary showcases some of the very best of Alaska.

Celebrity Solstice is one of my favorite ships for Alaska thanks to its relaxed upscale atmosphere, incredible dining, beautiful outdoor viewing areas, and overall experience that feels elevated without feeling stuffy. Whether this is your first time visiting Alaska or a return trip to experience it differently, this itinerary offers the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and relaxation.

This sailing is ideal for couples, families, friend groups, and travelers looking to experience one of the most unforgettable destinations in the world with the added advantage of group space and expert planning assistance along the way.

Balcony stateroom $2192 per person (double occupancy)*

Panoramic Ocean View stateroom $1607 per person (double occupancy)*

Price includes cruise, port fees, taxes and gratuities PLUS wifi and the classic drink package.

The package currently includes alcoholic beverages priced up to $12 per drink along with a 15% discount on bottles of wine purchased onboard. If you order a drink above the included amount, you simply pay the difference plus gratuity.

One of the biggest advantages is convenience. Whether you’re grabbing a specialty coffee in the morning, a cocktail by the pool, wine with dinner, or bottled water before an excursion, the package can be used throughout the ship at restaurants, bars, lounges, and cafés.

  • My favorite things to do in each port

    Hubbard Glacier

One of the true highlights of an Alaska cruise day. Spend the day surrounded by massive glacier views, icy blue waters, waterfalls, and the possibility of spotting seals, whales, and other wildlife right from the ship as Celebrity Solstice slowly cruises alongside Hubbard Glacier.

    Juneau

Alaska’s capital city is packed with adventure. Visit the stunning Mendenhall Glacier, head out on an unforgettable whale watching excursion, grab fresh crab at the famous Tracy’s Crab Shack, and stop by the legendary Red Dog Saloon for a Duck Fart and a step straight back into Alaska’s gold rush days.

    Skagway

This historic gold rush town truly feels like stepping back in time. One of the most popular excursions in all of Alaska is the scenic White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad where you’ll climb high into the mountains and into Canada’s Yukon territory. And while exploring town, don’t leave without grabbing a famous Doughboy from Klondike Doughboy just off Broadway.

    Icy Strait Point

One of my personal favorite Alaska ports for wildlife viewing and authentic Alaska scenery. This is a fantastic place to spot bears, humpback whales, and orcas. For thrill seekers, don’t miss the world’s largest ZipRider zipline with absolutely incredible views over the water and surrounding mountains.

    Ketchikan

Known for its colorful waterfront and rich Native Alaskan culture, Ketchikan is a fun and easy port to explore. Wander through historic Creek Street, browse local shops, and make time for the famous Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show it’s absolutely a crowd favorite and a lot more entertaining than people expect!
