Mackinac Island with Tulip Festival — Join the List
Apr 30 - May 8, 2027
There's an island in Michigan where cars have been banned for over a century. For two nights on this trip, the Grand Hotel's mile-long porch will be right outside your door, with bicycles and horse-drawn carriages the only way around. That's where this trip is headed, but it's not where it starts.
We begin in Chicago, then head north to Holland, Michigan, for the Tulip Time Festival, one of the largest tulip festivals in the country, timed to a bloom that only lasts a few weeks each spring. From there it's on to Mackinac Island, then Bay City for a tour of the Alden B. Dow home and studio, then Dearborn for a hands-on look at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, where the actual machines that changed how the world moves are on display. We close the trip with one last night out in Detroit before heading home.
Every mile is handled for you. A tour director and driver take care of every hotel, every meal, and every transition, moving at an easy pace by motorcoach, so the only thing you have to plan is what to pack.
This departure runs April 30 through May 8, 2027, and it's already marked Guaranteed to run. Starting from $4,599 per person, double occupancy.
This trip isn't open to the public yet. Join the list below and I'll reach out personally with all the details, before anyone else hears about it.
