This is not your typical cruise. This is a true Arctic expedition.

I’m excited to introduce an incredible journey that will take us deep into some of the most remote and spectacular places on Earth. We’ll travel from Svalbard through East Greenland and on to Iceland, surrounded by glaciers, drifting ice, towering mountains and incredible Arctic wildlife.

Our adventure begins with an included pre-cruise hotel night in Copenhagen, followed by an included charter flight to Longyearbyen, Svalbard—one of the northernmost communities in the world. From there, we board the beautiful SH Vega and head into the Arctic.

We'll spend several days exploring Svalbard, where polar bears roam the sea ice and walruses, reindeer, seals and Arctic foxes inhabit this extraordinary wilderness. Then we set out for rarely visited Jan Mayen Island before continuing to the remote eastern coast of Greenland.

One of the highlights will be Scoresbysund—the world's largest fjord system—where massive glaciers, icebergs and mountains create scenery that almost doesn't look real. We'll also visit Ittoqqortoormiit, one of Greenland's most isolated communities, before continuing toward Iceland.

And because this is an expedition voyage, the experience goes far beyond simply seeing these places from the ship. Expedition landings and one selected shore excursion per port are included, along with onboard expedition experts and lectures. There's even an optional opportunity to kayak through the Arctic waters among the incredible ice formations and wildlife.

We'll finish our adventure in Reykjavík, Iceland, after experiencing a part of the world that very few people ever get to see.
