Sara is a lifelong Iowan who enjoys sharing travel stories with others. She is the CEO of Travel With Sara, Co-Owner of Midwest Travel Network, and the author of 100 Things To Do In Iowa Before You Die & Perfect Day Iowa. She co-authored Midwest Road Trip Adventures & Midwest State Park Adventures with colleagues from the Midwest Travel Network. She and her husband recently started a YouTube Channel, Go Crush It: Travel & Thrive, showcasing travel for the 50+ traveler. They enjoy road tripping, cruising, and traveling with extended family. Veronica is a travel writer, photographer, author, and lifelong road-trip enthusiast behind Quirky Roadside USA (QRU) and Hip Grandma Life, where she encourages travelers to keep exploring, trying new things, and occasionally pulling over for something completely ridiculous.

She is the author of 100 Things to Do in Holland, Michigan Before You Die and the creator of Quirky Roadside USA, a growing travel resource and community built around the wonderfully unusual places that make a trip more memorable.

Veronica has spent years traveling America’s back roads, photographing unexpected places, working with destinations, and sharing the stories she finds along the way. She loves the big bucket-list sights, but she’s just as likely to get excited about an enormous roadside statue, an unusual local tradition, a colorful mural, or something that makes everyone ask, “Who thought of this?”

The room categories listed are limited. We can request additional cabins if there is a room category that is sold out or if you want to upgrade to a suite or higher. If we do sell out of a category, we can check availability and book at the current going rate. Please indicate on the sign up form if you will have more than 2 people in the cabin. I will need to make sure we have that configuration available or if we can request it.
