Who can join the cruise?

Our cruise is open to anyone who is interested in joining our community.

What is the age requirement for the cruise?

Virgin Voyages is an adults-only cruise line, so guests must be 18 years or older.

What is the dress code on the ship?

Virgin Voyages has a relaxed dress code. You can dress casually or dress up for special occasions.

Is there wifi available on the ship?

Yes, basic wifi is available on the ship and included in your cruise fare. You can upgrade to premium wifi for an additional fee.

What  are the methods of payment onboard?

All transactions on board will be purchased with your onboard account. Funds can be loaded and applied to your account with cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Currencies accepted onboard is USD, so some Sailors may incur foreign transaction fees by their credit card company.

What is the currency used in the ports we'll be visiting?

The primary currency accepted in our destination ports is the US dollar.

• Roatan, Honduras: While the local currency is the Honduran Lempira, US dollars are widely accepted.

• Bimini, Bahamas: Bahamian dollars are the official currency, but US dollars are readily accepted.

• Costa Maya, Mexico: Although the official currency is the Mexican Peso, US dollars are widely accepted, especially in tourist areas.

It's recommended to have some local currency on hand for smaller purchases and tipping, but US dollars will suffice for most transactions.

What if I'm prone to seasickness? 

Don't let seasickness deter you from enjoying this cruise! There are things you can do that will help, such as choosing the right cabin location (midship on lower decks), eating light meals, and staying hydrated. Consult your doctor for personalized, preventative advice and consider over-the-counter medication.

What is the payment plan for the group cruise?

Virgin Voyages has the following payment policies:

• Deposit: A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking, unless you're booking less than 120 days before your departure date.
• Full payment: Full payment, including taxes and fees, is required 120 days before your departure date.
