After over 36 years working as a Registered Nurse in a variety of roles I retired on December 31, 2025. Over 24 of those years I served our Military Service Members, Retirees and their Families at Fort Hood, Texas. As I retired, I thought about what I would like to do next... Vacation Planning and helping others plan vacations came to mind as it is important to take time to get away, enjoy new experiences, de-stress and just relax...

In February 2026 the opportunity to join Adventure Planners, LLC presented itself to me. I have always been the planner for trips for my family, extended family and friends. On February 14, 2026, I joined Adventure Planners, LLC as a Travel Advisor. I am excited to have found a place on this Awesome Team!

My goal as your Travel Advisor is to help you plan a memorable vacation, perhaps the trip of a lifetime that you will cherish for years to come. 

My love of travel started in my early years with my parents, as we traveled to many east coast locations every summer! Back in those days our travel was usually road-trips to a variety of fun, historical and educational destinations. Additional Travels as a young child and teenager took me to international locations including Hungary, Canada and Ireland. Both of my children were given opportunities to travel as People to People Student Ambassadors traveling to beautiful locations including, England, Ireland, Scottland, Wales, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, France, Australia, China. As a mom, I lived these locations through their eyes and adventures!

As an adult and as our children grew our family truly became a Disney Family. We have traveled to Disney Parks on both coasts for almost 30 years. In 2015 I ran my first Run Disney Princess 10K and have continued to participate in 5Ks, 10Ks and a few Half Marathons since that first run! I can tell you about the fun of 'running' Disney! 2025 took us to Disney's Aulani in Hawaii for a 2-week Hawaiian Adventure! I am a Disney World Annual Passholder and a Disney Vacation Club Member/Owner. This gives me firsthand experience of the parks and resorts.

Our first Disney Cruise was in 2001 on the Disney Magic! Since that first cruise I have cruised on Disney Cruise Line 24 times, having cruised on 7 of their 8 ships. Celebrating a birthday or milestone onboard a ship? I have celebrated my birthday and my retirement onboard Disney Ships! I have experience with pre, and post cruise destinations, stateroom categories, ports of call and excursions. Our cruises have taken us to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, Mexico, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Alaska, the Panama Canal and Europe. These cruises and additional travels have taken me to many locations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Bermuda, Vancouver, Alaska, Barcelona, Italy and Germany.

In my first 6 months as a Travel Advisor, I have booked a total of more than 20 Cruises on Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Margaritaville at Sea and Viking River Cruises. Additionally, I have assisted families with their Disney World Vacations including resort stays and tickets/special event tickets. 4 Families are in the planning stages of their European Travel to a variety of countries in 2027. I have always believed that knowledge is Power! Because of this fact, I have completed training on multiple travel platforms, cruise lines, and destinations. I attended the Celebrity Cruise Line Seminar at Sea abord the Celebrity Silhouette in May 2026, gaining training and firsthand experiences with the Celebrity Cruise Brand. I completed the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) Group Travel Certification in July 2026 as part of working toward completion of the Accredited Cruise Counselor Certification.
