Day 1 – June 23: The Journey Begins

Your Italian story starts tonight as you board your overnight flight from the US.
You settle into your seat with that fluttery excitement that only comes from knowing you're finally headed to Italy. The home of pasta, wine, history, and joy is waiting for you on the other side of the sunrise.

Day 2 – June 24: Welcome to Venice

The moment you step out of the airport, Venice greets you like a watercolor painting come to life.
Your tour manager meets you, Mike & Maryanne welcome you with huge smiles, and together you glide across the lagoon by boat.

Check into your 4-star hotel, refresh, and breathe in that “I’m finally here” feeling.

Tonight’s welcome dinner sets the tone — laughter, introductions, clinking glasses, and that first taste of Italian hospitality. Afterward, wander the alleyways at your leisure. Venice at night feels like a secret being whispered only to you.

    Day 3 – June 25: Venice Like a Local

After a slow, delicious Italian breakfast, the morning is yours.
Maybe you explore the Doge’s Palace, hop over to the colorful islands of Murano and Burano, or simply wander. Getting lost in Venice isn’t a mistake — it’s a rite of passage.

In the afternoon, you regroup for your cicchetti food tour, slipping into tiny wine bars where Venetians gather nightly. You taste small bites, sip local wines, learn traditions, and discover how Venetians celebrate life.

By evening, you feel like you belong here.

Day 4 – June 26: Train to Tuscany

After breakfast, you take a private boat to the train station, watching Venice fade into the distance as Tuscany calls your name.

A high-speed train whisks you through the countryside until Florence’s red rooftops appear.

Tonight, Florence is yours to explore. Find that trattoria you’ve been dreaming of, or let Mike and Maryanne point you to their favorite hidden gems.

Day 5 – June 27: Taste of Florence

    This morning, choose your adventure:
See Michelangelo’s David, wander the leather markets, or stroll across the iconic Ponte Vecchio. Florence is a city where every corner feels like a painting.

In the afternoon, you meet up for a gourmet walking food tour that lets you taste Florence from the inside out — artisan cafés, old-school food shops, and specialties passed down through generations.

After today, Florence won’t just be a place you visited. It will be a place that fed you.

Day 6 – June 28: Chianti Wine Country

    Today is pure Tuscan magic.
You journey into the rolling hills of Chianti, where vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see.

At a historic villa, you enjoy a four-course homemade lunch, each dish paired with a beautiful Chianti wine. The owners share stories, traditions, and the pride of generations.

On the way back, you stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for panoramic views of Florence glowing golden in the afternoon sun.
It’s a moment that stays with you.

Day 7 – June 29: Tuscany to Rome

You check out of Florence and road-trip south, stopping for a wine tasting and lunch in Montepulciano — the heart of Vino Nobile country.

By late afternoon, you arrive in Rome, check into your hotel, and spend the evening soaking in the energy of the Eternal City.
Optional: a golf cart tour that takes you to iconic sights without the walking. It’s unforgettable.

Day 8 – June 30: The Vatican & Pasta Night

    Spend the morning your way:
Explore the Vatican on an optional guided tour or wander Rome’s beautiful streets at your own pace.

Later, the group heads out together for a hands-on pasta-making class.
Flour, laughter, rolling pins, local wine, and the joy of making (and eating!) your own handmade ravioli and cavatelli.
Tonight feels like a family dinner — the Italian way.

    Day 9 – July 1: Ancient Rome & Trastevere

Your morning is free or dedicated to an optional guided tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum — an incredible walk through ancient history.

In the afternoon, you head to Trastevere, Rome’s charming food district, for a walking food tour filled with street bites, stories, and bold Roman flavors.

By nightfall, you’ll feel like you’ve lived several chapters of history in a single day.

Day 10 – July 2: Pizza Pilgrimage & Sorrento Nights

This afternoon, you load your luggage and begin traveling south toward the Amalfi Coast.

Your dinner stop is legendaryPepe in Grani in the tiny town of Caiazzo, where the best pizza in the world is made. This is the kind of food memory you keep forever.

After dinner, continue on to Sorrento, where twinkling lights and sea breezes welcome you for four nights in paradise.

    Day 11 – July 3: Mozzarella Magic

Today you head to a mozzarella farm near Naples for an immersive, hands-on experience.
You learn how mozzarella is made, shape your own, create a southern Italian dish from scratch, enjoy homemade tiramisu, and sip limoncello in a lemon garden.

It’s authentic. It’s delicious. It’s Italy at its most joyful.

Day 12 – July 4: Your Perfect Day on the Coast

You decide how to spend this dreamy free day.
    Will you…
✨ Take a boat to Capri?
✨ Cruise the Amalfi Coast and swim in turquoise coves?
    ✨ Tour ancient Pompeii?
✨ Shop and sip spritzes in Sorrento’s charming streets?

Whatever you choose, your day is pure coastal bliss.

    Day 13 – July 5: Cooking with a Cesarina

This morning, you’re welcomed into the home of a local Cesarina — women who preserve Italy’s most treasured recipes.

You warm up with an aperitivo, cook a full Italian meal, laugh, learn, and enjoy your creation over wine. It’s the most intimate culinary experience of the trip.

The afternoon is free for shopping, strolling, or savoring your last gelato in Sorrento.

    Day 14 – July 6: Arrivederci, Italia

After breakfast, you transfer to the Naples airport with a full heart and thousands of memories.
Italy may be behind you now…
but you’ll take its flavors, friendships, and stories with you forever.
