    The best times to visit Charleston, South Carolina, are early spring (March to early April) and late fall (November to early December). These shoulder seasons offer mild weather (60s–70s°F), ideal for strolling the Battery, exploring historic homes, or enjoying Lowcountry cuisine outdoors. Spring brings blooming gardens and events like the Festival of Houses and Gardens, while fall offers pleasant temps, fewer crowds, and festivals like the Charleston Food + Wine Festival. Summer (June–August) is hot and humid (80s–90s°F) with frequent rain and peak tourist crowds, though it’s lively with outdoor markets. You’ll travel with the group throughout the program, so there’s no need to plan or arrange anything yourself.

    Airfare: International airfare is not included, and you’re welcome to handle your flights however you prefer — including using frequent-flyer miles.
