Anchorage

Upon arrival in Anchorage, a transfer will be provided to your Anchorage hotel where your Tour Director will greet you. Enjoy the lively bars and eclectic dining this youthful city offers, or take a stroll on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. Overnight at the Anchorage Marriott in concierge level accommodation. * The tour component of your Cruisetour vacation is comprised of a dedicated tour guide, included experiences, lodging, and transportation as described. Land tour arrival times are tentative. Optional excursions are not included. Meals are not included unless specified. Visits to Denali Park in May and September are dependent on weather conditions. If necessary, the Tundra Wilderness Tour may be replaced by Denali Natural History Tour. Anchorage/Denali

After an included breakfast, depart for Denali on the Wilderness Express. Soak in spectacular views of the stunning landscape from your glass-domed railcar with an included lunch onboard. On arrival, Denali is yours to explore. Stroll the trails that surround Denali National Park Visitor Center, or book an optional river rafting adventure down the Nenana River. Overnight at the Grande Denali Lodge in accommodation with a view.

Tour Day 3

Denali

After an included breakfast a local expert will introduce Denali National Park and its incredible taiga forests and rolling tundra in the “Welcome to Denali” reception, then spend the morning immersed in the beauty of Alaska’s natural landscape as you head deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Along the way, watch for the “big five”: caribou, moose, bear, gray wolves, and Dall sheep. After your tour, Denali is yours to explore. Let your Tour Director book an optional flightseeing journey with up-close views of the tallest peak in North America. Overnight at the Grande Denali Lodge in accommodation with a view.

Tour Day 4

Denali/Alyeska (Girdwood)

After an included breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive on your deluxe motor coach to the cosmopolitan city of Anchorage for an included group lunch and a visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center to learn about the state’s native cultures, then continue to beautiful Alyeska (Girdwood), traveling past the picturesque Turnagain Arm. On arrival., Alyeska is yours to explore. Enjoy the luxury amenities of the Alyeska Resort, like the heated swimming pool with mountain views, or book an optional alpine hike on Alyeska Glacier. Overnight at Hotel Alyeska.
