June 13–19, 2027 · 7 days / 6 nights · Led by Luciano Patiño, Certified Sommelier · From $9,995 pp, Dbl Occ
Mendoza: The Signature Tour is a sommelier-led week that runs from the old-vine heart of Luján de Cuyo up to the high-altitude vineyards of the Valle de Uco. You'll taste wines that never leave Argentina, stay at two of Mendoza's most beautiful wine estates and eat at two of the country's great tables.
This isn't a tour that drives you from tasting room to tasting room. It's a structured education in Argentine wine, built day by day. It's for travelers who want to understand what's in the glass, and for the partners who come along for the food, the mountains and the adventure and end up loving it just as much.
June 10–13, 2027 · 3 nights at the Faena Hotel · From $3,695 pp, Dbl Occ
Start your journey two days early in Argentina's most spirited city. You'll get a hands-on taste of porteño culture, from the kitchen to the dance floor, and a long parrilla lunch with steak and Malbec. On June 13 we fly to Mendoza together, with Luciano by your side, to meet the rest of the group in wine country. You'll arrive rested, well fed and already in love.
Two wine estates, chosen as carefully as the wines, so you unpack only twice all week.
A boutique wine hotel set among its own Malbec vines in Vistalba, about 40 minutes from Mendoza airport. Its six-stage hammam is the perfect end to a day of tasting, and the Andes fill the view from the vineyard.
A design-forward wine resort on a 320-hectare estate high in Los Chacayes, more than 4,000 feet up at the foot of the Andes. You'll be sleeping in the very terroir we come to study, with mountain views from every direction.
Every winery visit is part of a curriculum, so by June 18 you'll be tasting like a professional.
Luciano Patiño, a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, leads every tasting. The week builds one step at a time:
You'll taste first and talk about it after, side by side, with daily materials that turn each visit into something you remember. No wine background is needed. Curious beginners and seasoned collectors learn at the same table, and nobody gets lectured.
Along the way, you'll taste wines in such small quantities that they never get exported: single-parcel bottlings, cellar-door releases and pours from the people who made them.
Breakfast and lunch are included every day, plus two dinners at the best tables in the region.
Azafrán, Mendoza. At Mendoza's Michelin-starred dining room, there's no wine list. You walk into a glass-fronted cellar of more than 300 Argentine labels and choose your bottle with the sommelier. Chef Sebastián Weigandt cooks with the ingredients of the Cuyo region, like mountain trout, goat and algarrobo, using modern technique.
Siete Fuegos, Valle de Uco. Our closing night is spent around the fire at Francis Mallmann's restaurant, named for the seven open-fire techniques he has mastered. We raise our glasses to the week's best discoveries and to the people we shared them with.
Lunches are long and generous, often at the wineries themselves, because in Mendoza that's how it's done. The remaining evenings are yours: a quiet dinner at the hotel, room service after the hammam, or a recommendation from Luciano, a devoted fine-dining obsessive who has eaten his way through Noma, Arpège and Alinea.
Buenos Aires: The Prelude adds: two nights in Buenos Aires, a hands-on cultural experience, a parrilla dinner.
The group is limited to 12 guests, and places are held in the order deposits are received.
