• All international tourists aged 15 and older visiting Quintana Roo are required to pay the tax.
• Mexican nationals and residents are exempt.

• The Visitax fee is approximately $18 USD (subject to exchange rates).

• Payment should ideally be made before arriving in Quintana Roo or during your stay, but it must be completed before departure.
• You can pay the tax online or at designated kiosks at airports and ferry terminals.

1. Online Payment: Visit the official Visitax website: HERE. Complete the form with your travel details (passport number, travel dates, etc.).Make payment using a credit or debit card.You’ll receive a confirmation QR code as proof of payment.
2. At Airports or Ports:Pay at designated counters or kiosks before departure.

• Passport information.
• Travel itinerary (dates of arrival and departure).
• QR code or proof of payment for verification during airport check-in or departure.

• The QR code may be requested at airports, especially during check-in or immigration procedures.

• Pay the Visitax in advance to avoid delays during departure.
• Retain the QR code on your phone or a printed copy.
• If you travel as a family or group, a single transaction can cover multiple travelers, but each person requires a unique QR code.
