Description
If you're ready for a real adventure, the Tenorio River is waiting. This thrilling white-water rafting experience features Class III and IV rapids — ranging from irregular, fast-moving waves to intense, technical drops that will challenge even seasoned rafters. One of the highlights of the tour is a dramatic 10-foot waterfall drop (Class V), a unique feature that may or may not be navigated, depending on conditions and your guide’s discretion.
Set in the heart of the Guanacaste mountain range, the Tenorio River winds through a stunning red-rock canyon surrounded by lush landscapes and wildlife. Before hitting the rapids, you'll receive a comprehensive safety briefing and be equipped with top-quality gear including helmets, life jackets, and paddles. After a short practice session with your guide, you'll embark on a 2.5-hour rafting adventure covering 12 kilometers of river and tackling more than 22 exhilarating rapids — a truly unforgettable experience in Costa Rica’s wild and beautiful backcountry. No weight limit restriction.

This tour includes A/C Transportation. Pickup can be arranged from all hotels in Tamarindo, Papagayo, El Coco, Playa Hermosa, Matapalo, Potrero, Flamingo, Conchal and Liberia town.
• Please note that pick-up is NOT available from Dreams las Mareas, Nosara area, Playa Grande, Sámara or any private residence.
