Virgin Voyages offers unforgettable journeys—but even the best-planned adventures can face unexpected disruptions. Without travel protection, you're fully exposed to the real risks of:
- Flight delays or cancellations that cause you to miss the ship (Virgin Voyages won’t wait)
- Injuries onboard (slippery decks, gym accidents, excursions gone wrong)
- Medical emergencies in international waters or foreign ports—your U.S. health insurance may not cover a dime
- Trip interruptions due to family emergencies or unexpected events at home
- Lost, stolen, or delayed luggage, especially on connecting flights
- Last-minute illness or accidents before departure that force you to cancel and lose your full investment
Cruise travel is different. Once you're on international waters or docked in a foreign country, you're outside the protection of most standard health plans. Travel Insurance Waiver & Acceptance of Full Financial Liability
I understand that I have been given the one-time opportunity to purchase travel insurance to safeguard my trip against unexpected events. By declining this offer, I acknowledge and accept full financial responsibility for any and all losses arising from:
- Trip cancellations or interruptions
- Medical emergencies abroad (including hospital stays, evacuations, or death)
- Travel delays or missed connections
- Lost, stolen, or damaged baggage
- Any unforeseen events or acts of God that impact travel
I further acknowledge that once declined, travel insurance cannot be added later, and no compensation or reimbursement will be available under any circumstances—regardless of severity, justification, or personal hardship.
By signing or submitting this waiver, I am voluntarily forfeiting all rights to future claims, reimbursements, or liability protections, and I release the travel agency , host of the cruise and its representatives from all legal or financial responsibility related to my decision.
