Take in panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown and the Remarkable and stop for memorable photos of the Shotover River and Skippers Canyon Saddle lookout.
Visit Arrowtown with its old-world charm, fantastic shopping and golden history. Arrowtown, was popular for gold mining in the 1860’s with gold prospectors traveling from both Europe and China to try their luck. You will have couple of hours to explore on your own in this delightful village with lovely shops and restaurants. You can walk around, have a coffee or visit Chinese Village or the Lakes District Museum and Gallery (entry is not included), is one of New Zealand’s best smallest museums. Hunt for gold on the banks of one of the world’s richest gold-bearing rivers and learn about the history of the area.
Queenstown is the "World Home of Adventure". You will have an opportunity to watch the original Kawarau Bridge bungy from the historic bridge, or the award winning AJ Hackett base building - out at the Gibbston Valley. We return to the hotel for a refreshment and depart to Dinner at Skyline Queenstown. Take a return Skyline Gondola ride up Bob’s Peak and marvel at the panoramic views of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet-style dinner at Stratosfare Restaurant, serving iconic New Zealand dishes infused with international influences.
