We will take the funicular to Mount Floyen where we will enjoy the view of the city from above. We will walk to the Skomarketdiken lake where we will begin to enter the mountains to find cabins in unexpected places. Here, we will stop to have a snack with incredible views of the city and parks built in an artisanal way, showcasing the art of carpentry in Norway. We will learn about how life was different in these mountains at the beginning of the 20th century and the harsh conditions faced by its inhabitants in previous centuries, understanding how these customs and traditions have influenced Norwegian culture today. Afterwards, we will immerse ourselves in the dense forests of tall pines in the Bergen mountains, walking along old transport and trade routes from the Viking era. You will see the city like never before from different perspectives.
