Cruise accommodations and deposits can feel a little different from traditional travel, so here’s a clear breakdown of how it works for the Alaska Homeschoolers Cruise aboard Quantum of the Seas:
To fully secure your stateroom and lock in pricing, a $500 deposit per stateroom is required. This confirms your room and guarantees your rate.
For those who want to get started with a lower upfront cost, a $50 hold option is available for double occupancy staterooms only. This allows you to reserve your space on the ship, and the $50 will later go toward your full deposit.
Important details to understand:
- The $50 hold is only available for double occupancy rooms
- Double occupancy is the only category where pricing can be guaranteed at the time of hold
- Triple and quad occupancy rooms are not price-protected until the full $500 deposit is paid
- Pricing for triple and quad rooms may increase or decrease at any time until the full deposit is made
Good news for families booking 3 or 4 guests in a room:
If pricing for third and fourth occupancy rates decreases at any time, we are able to adjust and price match your reservation accordingly.
Because of this pricing structure, families needing triple or quad occupancy are encouraged to secure their reservation as early as possible while also knowing they can still benefit from future price drops.
