After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a full-day guided tour of the Cape Peninsula. This stunning stretch of coastline offers some of South Africa’s most breathtaking viewpoints. Begin with a drive through Camps Bay, Cape Town’s fashionable suburb, where many international celebrities own holiday homes, and past Noordhoek, where you may wish to stop for a local favorite, Kristen’s Kick-ass Ice Cream. Weather permitting, you will travel along Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the world’s most scenic coastal routes, famous for its sweeping ocean and mountain views, and featured on Top Gear. Continue to Cape Point, where you can soak in panoramic vistas and spot local wildlife, including antelope, Cape Mountain Zebra, and the ever-present baboons. Here, you may choose to stroll around, visit the café, or ride the funicular to the lighthouse (optional, at own account) for spectacular elevated views. Next, visit the iconic Boulders Beach to see the charming African penguins as they swim and go about their daily routines. On the way, you’ll pass through or make brief stops at the small, quirky seaside towns of Kalk Bay and Simon’s Town. Kalk Bay is famous for its arts and crafts stalls and excellent local eateries, while Simon’s Town is home to the South African Navy. A light lunch will be served at a local restaurant during the tour.

On your return to the city, enjoy dinner at Sevruga. Specializing in sushi, fresh seafood, and cocktails, this restaurant offers a variety of other delicious dishes as well.
