Today, the journey itself is part of the Alaska experience. Enjoy a full-day scenic rail journey through the heart of Alaska aboard Princess' glass-domed Direct-to-the-Wilderness® train, traveling from Denali directly to your ship in Whittier.
Travel aboard a double-decker, glass-domed rail car designed especially for sightseeing in Alaska. Relax in the upper-level dome with expansive panoramic windows offering wonderful views of the passing wilderness, mountains and waterways.
During the journey, Princess Rail Guides provide commentary about Alaska's scenery, history and wildlife. You can also step outside onto the open-air observation platform for an entirely different perspective — and some terrific photo opportunities.
A full-service dining room is located on the lower level, offering made-to-order meals, with beverage service also available in the upper-level dome.
