Tipping Guidelines

Gratuities to your Tour Director and Driver are not included in the vacation price. While the amount of these gratuities will depend upon your degree of satisfaction for services received, many passengers have asked for general tipping guidelines. For a job well done, I suggest:
Tour Director £6 per tour day, per person (£84.00 or $98USD per person)
Driver £3.50 per tour day, per person (£49.00 or $57SUSD per person)
Local Guides for good service, for a half day guide, £2-3 per person (approximately $3-4 USD) is a lovely gesture. For a full day, £3-5 per person (approximately $4-7 USD).
Restaurants: Where the service charge is already included, round up the check/bill by the equivalent of a few Dollars to show appreciation. Tips are usually left in cash, not added to the credit card payment.
Taxis: If possible, pre-negotiate taxi fares to avoid unpleasant surprises at the end of your journey.
Hotel housekeeping — £1-2 per night left on the bed is a kind and welcome gesture, but not necessary.
Hotel taxes, service charges and tips for baggage handling are included in the tour price.
If ice machines are not available and you get ice from the bar, a small tip to the bartender is appreciated
