On this excursion, you will be guided by a local expert to the stunning 27 Charcos, or 27 pools, in the Dominican Republic. After being met at the pier, you'll embark on a scenic drive through the countryside to reach the base camp in the tropical forest. Here, you'll be outfitted with a helmet and life jacket before starting a 30-minute guided hike to the first waterfall. You can choose to jump into the refreshing waters or slide down a natural platform. The return journey to base camp will be an exhilarating adventure through natural waterslides formed by centuries of rushing water. After the activity, enjoy rum punch and soda while changing into dry clothes before heading back to the pier. This tour includes round trip transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle, a local guide, bottled water, light snacks, and all necessary equipment. Please note that this tour is physically demanding and requires good swimming skills. Participants must be at least 12 years old and in good physical condition.
